Very disappointing that November is considered Christmas Delivery. I am sure it said such in the fine print and every year I have paid extra to select a date but I did not this year. Hindsight is a wonderful thing.

Dear Kristine, I’m really sorry for the experience you’ve had with this delivery. Our Christmas delivery window is 01/12–08/12, and your order was despatched for a 1st December delivery date. You are absolutely right that no Christmas deliveries should have been arriving in November. I can see the carrier delivered your parcel a day early. They may have thought they were exceeding expectations by doing this, but I understand how frustrating it is when it doesn’t line up with what you planned for, and I sincerely apologise. Ordered on Tuesday (fast 2-day service) to be delivered to friends after a funeral. Didn’t arrive. No communication from the seller or delivery company. It’s now Sunday 1.15pm and still not delivered or even out for delivery. Unreliable service, disappointing for all concerned.

Really disappointed. The pictures on the website do not resemble what we just received. The hamper basket is nothing like the picture, the cheese on the website is coated in wax and looks lovely, the one that arrived has no wax and is in vacuum packed plastic. Such a disappointment… Glossy pictures but the result was a long way short of what was advertised. Won’t be using this company again.

I would have given 5 stars but evri lost the hamper 🙄🤦‍♂️ However customer services at Hamper.com resolved delivery with dpd without delay.

The hamper/basket is good value and a great Christmas present for close friends. However, the delivery experience has soured the transaction. Evri said they would deliver on Wednesday but didn't. Then no contact until I complained to Hampers.com. When the did deliver my wife asked the Evri courier if the parcel he was carrying was ours and he said no and dumped it outside the communal door on the other side of our block of flats! The photo they sent me showed this so my wife did collect it eventually. Very frustrating and unnecessary.

I’m glad to hear you found the hamper good value, but I completely understand how the issues with Evri have taken away from the overall experience. You should never have been left without updates after the missed delivery, and the way the parcel was handled on arrival is not acceptable. Your wife shouldn’t have had to chase the courier, and the parcel certainly shouldn’t have been left at a different entrance to your building. I can imagine how frustrating and unnecessary that felt, and I’m truly sorry. Order was placed and was packaged and delivered next day. This was a gift for friends so I didn’t see the hampers but they assured me they were very happy with them.
