My friends in England who got the hampers are really pleased with them the panettone was delicious the chocolate disappeared quickly so that’s what is nice when you send a gift and it’s enjoyed and made them happy

This order arrived ahead of shedule, the evening before, but fortunately it was not a problem. It was a birthday present for a friend, who I understand is very pleased with the gift.

Delivery was meant to be on the 1st Dec. Paid for next day. Never arrived. Recipients were unavailable after that date. As I didn’t get a notification by the 2nd of delivery I phoned to cancel as was no longer any use. Was told out for delivery but it was no longer any use but they cancelled delivery & refunded right away. Bit of a let down really and I’ve used them many times.

Dear Norman, I’m sorry for any confusion regarding the gift message. Your message is printed on a plain gift card and attached to the top of the box in a paper document pouch. It sits right next to the address label, so it’s easy for the recipient to spot and won’t be missed - and don’t worry, it isn’t visible to the courier. The hampers themselves are great and the online transaction easy, the only mistake I made this year was marking them for "Christmas Delivery" instead of choosing an actual date, as for some reason "Christmas Delivery" meant they were all delivered on 29th & 30th November and not as I assumed closer to Christmas. So now our family have all received their Christmas presents super early.

You are absolutely right that no Christmas deliveries should have been arriving in November. I can see the carrier delivered your parcel a day early. They may have thought they were exceeding expectations by doing this, but I understand how frustrating it is when it doesn’t line up with what you planned for, and I sincerely apologise. Although I received an e-mail stating that the carrier was expecting 2 items, on Friday & delivery date as stated by Hampers was today 1st Dec.they have not been delivered yet nor has the carrier confirmed that they have actually received them yet from Hampers. I do not know who is causing the delay. I had no trouble with delivery last year.

I have paid £79 for a Fireside hamper which contained £43 62 worth of contents. Plus what must surely be the most expensive basket and straw. I feel conned and will certainly never buy a hamper again.
