“I was pleased with the item I ordered but was disappointed that it didnt arrive in its box as it is for a gift. I thought by paying the full price for this Royal Doulton Teapot and ordering from what I thought was a bonafide China shop that it would arrive in its box and not just bundled up in a load of old newspaper, I could have purchased one in perfect condition from eBay in this case.”

We are sorry to hear of your disappointment with your order. This particular pattern was discontinued in 1998 and so it is not possible to buy from new today. We specialise in discontinued patterns and all of our items are pre-loved, therefore, we do not have any of the original packaging. Recycled newspaper is used for our packaging as we find it to be as effective as any polystyrene or plastic packaging materials and as its recycled is more environmentally friendly.
