“Received parcel in the time slot it was scheduled . Sadley had to return trainers as the soles on both were dirty and left trainer had dirt on the toe .Did speak to a very helpful lady on the phone who apologised and has sent me a prepaid label for my return I am now awaiting a new pair .”

On a less positive note, I'm really sorry the shop is closing. I understand all the reasons, but the loss of yet another 'go-to' shop is very saddening.”

“Well priced shoes. Communication was quick. Poor advertisement regarding shipping. I spent £40 and website says free shipping over £40 yet I was charged for shipping which they refused to refund. One set of shoes I ordered had clearly been worn, scuffs on the front and the soles were covered in black marks. I wouldn’t use this company again.”

“Just purchased these online. At £25 I wasn't expecting leather however, both the product information and description on this site state they are. When they arrived, surprise, surprise SYNTHETIC!!! Same shoes on Next and Clarks website DO NOT say leather. Very misleading from Charles Clinkard.”

“Was really pleased to find the Josef Siebel Clare trainers online in the size and colour I wanted. Slightly disappointed to find that one shoe had clearly been tried on - possibly several times as there were creases in the front of the shoe. The heel of the shoe also appeared slightly creased and bent - as if someone had forced their foot into it bending the back/ heel part down. I had to weigh up wanting the shoes with sending them back and decided on balance to keep them as was unsure if I could get another pair as they were reduced in the sale.”

“Ordering process was easy, although I do think the website could be streamlined and some of the images are a bit blurred. I actually emailed to cancel my order as, at day 5 I’d had no communication beyond order confirmation. Too late, within 40 mins I had a despatch notification. My order was 3xclutch bags attempting to colour match some sandals bought for a wedding. Parcel arrived nicely protected within a shoebox style outer box and plastic parcel bag. Sadly I had to return all 3 bags as non were the right colour. Returns at my expense but I knew that in advance. I had confirmation of receipt of the return today. Happy with the returns process so far.”
