“I ordered black knee length boots, size 7, wide fit. Unfortunately I will be returning them this weekend through a local branch (Shrewsbury) as I found it extremely difficult to push my foot into the boot and then impossible to zip them up. I do have a very high instep and a bony protrusion on top of my feet and this does cause difficulties. It was disappointing as the boots themselves are really lovely and would have been perfect. The only downside was that had I been able to keep them, they weren't quite as high as I'd expected. I am 5'8" and the top of the boot rested an inch below my knee. I need to add though that the parcel had been severely crushed at some point in its journey. The plastic outer bag was ripped in two places and the box had been flattened across one corner. I am assuming it is courier damaged and for this reason I am returning it through a store so that I can point it out to them. I suspect the courier would deny all knowledge and blame me.”

“I would like to thank Charles Clinkard return's department and delivery services for dealing so promptly with firstly my complaint or the quantity of my faulty product which was a pair of my husband's Rieker Lyle Boots size 7:5. As frequent customers of your store in Milton Keynes we came in around a year ago and purchased his first pair of the above item at a cost of around £79. These were for him to wear for work as he is standing on his feet a lot and we have both always prioritised comfort for our feet he was extremely pleased that the above boots were comfortable from day one. However after only around 6 months both of the sole's of his boots had started to come away from the upper leather with one of them completely off the whole sole of his boot by the time he had returned home (having completely wet feet from his short walk back to his car when returning home). He was so distraught when he came home as at the time he was suffering from extreme anxiety as a result of being made redundant from his previous position of over 30 year's and after a long period of unemployment was finding it difficult to have started a new job in a completely different career to his previous positions. I quickly got on line and ordered the identical pair of boots and paid extra for them to arrive the following day on order number 93186726 on 12th June 2024. These boots had the exact fault and I had to return them to yourselves and order another pair on order number 93372139 again payment for next day service for him to wear for work. The returned pair I have been told has been refunded onto my card but unfortunately I don't yet know the amount as it wasn't shown on the email I received to tell me this had been done, I won't know until my next card statement arrives. After receipt of the third pair of boots we will still be returning to your Milton Keynes store for him to find an alternative pair of boots that hopefully will be satisfactory for him to wear for work that will hopefully be lasting him at least 12month with reliable comfort and quality.”

“I ordered a pair of sandals from Charles Clinkard @£59.99. They arrived promptly and were what I wanted. However the shoebox showed a price of £53.99. I messaged Charles Clinkard to ask why the shoes were more expensive on the website than on the box. I was refunded £6 but not given any explanation as to the discrepancy in price. I have ordered from Charles Clinkard quite a lot in the past but this has really put me off ordering from Charles Clinkard in future as it was just chance I noticed the price on the box. It makes me wonder whether I have been overcharged in the past or might be in the future”

Thank you for leaving us a review. This sandal was previously in a sale where there was a 10% reduction. This offer has since ended but the sticker was not removed from the box.
