“I have to wear slip-on shoes as I can no longer tie shoe laces after a hip replacement. I found Grisport Melrose lightweight walking shoes the best ones available in shops I have tried. They are actually quite sturdy, my first pair lasting over 2 years continuous use including a lot of walking. They aren't cheap but well worth it. My first 2 pairs were bought at a Clinkard's shop which no longer stocks them so I bought a pair on line with no hassle, quick free delivery at a stated date and time. They gave me 10% off as my first on line order. Excellent service.”

“Firstly, a minor websire issue...you need to take out the fact that your shop is located in the Victoria centre...although your address is correcr, that bit caught me out. However, when i called and got a prompt answer, the staff your top cless Friendly and welcoming and helpful. I cant remember names but maybe illana and yvette??...were both a pleasure to deal with. “I have been delighted with the service I have received from Charles Clinkard, both online and in shops. For 2 years running now, I have been able to find sandals/shoes to fit a very awkward foot (narrow and long) - and because of your excellent online service & easy return policy to local shops, I have been able to try on a range of shoes/sandals and try them at home with very little hassle. Shop staff are also always delightful and extremely helpful.”

“I ordered a pair of Bugatti smart boots, the order arrived quickly but the boots were in a Clinkard box. I don’t have a problem with that as a leaflet in the box explained why this was the case. The problem was how the boots had been packed. Firstly the box was a shoe box not a boot box so the boots were crammed in the box. Secondly absolutely no packaging was in the box and the boots were left to rub together. The boots themselves were comfortable but very poorly finished so they were exchanged for another pair. I also find it more than a little bit annoying that Clinkards expect you to pay for returns u less you take them back to store. In my case, the boots were actually faulty so why should I have to pay to return the boots.”
