Shoes are lovely but I'm disappointed that the exact same Clarks shoes were half the price in Clarks.

Had to return as too small ..although 5 1/2 my normal size I could not get my right foot into the boot.....dissappionted

This order started with a log in nightmare. We tried to order through my wife's account but she had no password so the only option was to reset her password. After the reset we expected an e mail but none arrived so I had to set up another account. The e mail reset took 2 days to arrive! Once the order arrived we then went into our local Charles Clinkard branch where everything was sorted out and the staff admitted they had heard of a number of problems with the website! Charles Clinkard will lose orders if these glitches are not sorted soon!

The estimated delivery was Monday morning so I arranged my day.Then it changed to afternoon I had to get my husband to stay in,in the event the parcel arrived after 5pm.

I was delighted that you sold the slippers I was looking for however when they arrived the box was all bashed and ripped. Very disappointing considering they are Christmas present for my mother in law.

Shoes received lovely style, however when I received them found they were all man made material no leather, and yet on your web site stated leather uppers, so very disappointed and returned them to your store in Guildford, also as I ordered by phone checked with the girl and she also said leather uppers but I realise she was reading from the web site.

Delivery etc. fine. Taken aback by the blotchy appearance of the shoes. Rang Seibel and they said they are all like that. I have brown ones in the same style, very comfortable so will keep the new blue ones, but think this is not right for £75! I shall have to do a lot of work on them to get them in decent condition. Should you not take this up with Seibel?

Nice looking shoes, its a shame they cost to return as you know you need to try them onto to got a feel or them, especially as they are higher end.

The shoes are fantastic, can't fault them at all. I ordered online because the store didn't have the size I wanted. The timescales are written down but I think I just expected those to be the outside time lines so nobody was ever let down so I guess that I expected them to arrive quicker, but it was a week before I even got the email to say they'd despatched, once they'd despatched they arrived the following day.

You may consider using our standard service which is dispatched within 2-5 working days and we can even add a safe place for you should you not be available to sign for the item. I ordered a pair of shoes from your website a couple of weeks ago. They arrived within 5 working days and seemed ok but on trying them on they were much too wide. I returned them to my nearest Charles Clinkard shop (Eldon Square, Newcastle upon Tyne) and was told That I would be refunded, Can you confirm that the amount has been refunded to my card? I was told that the boots were an'H' width, a fact that was not stated on your website. It would be helpful if the fitting was given as well as the size when selling shoes on line. Our dispatch time is 2-5 working days on a standard delivery and the order you kindly placed was dispatched on a Friday evening then collected via Collectplus on the next working day which was the Monday. This was delivered to your chosen store on the Wednesday for you to collect. We do have additional delivery options available such as Express which is £2.99 and guarantees dispatch within 2-3 working days, we can also offer a Next Day option if the stock is available in our main warehouse which is £5.99 per item. Shoes were not a matching colour. One was darker than the other, disappointing. Would have been better to purchase from a shop as would not have to pay postage to return..

Took 10 days from placing an order to receiving the goods - far too long in my opinion when a week is reasonable. Also v.a.t. was not applicable to where I live and took too long to refund - it should be deducted on payment and not refunded after. Communication with Staff polite and helpful but for the reasons above I am giving a three star. Hopefully the next order it will not take so long but this has happened twice in the past. Goods well packed and boots in pristine condition.

Service is excellent as far as rapid dispatch of order is concerned. However, you have very few large sizes (I take 8.5 or 9), so I rarely look at your website as I tend to feel left out of choosing from all the beautiful shoes you have. Your sizing is odd compared with the majority of other shoe sellers - most do not call a 42 a 9!

With regards to shoe sizing, it is very difficult to compare various brands and the sizes they offer as there is no uniformity across the board. Some brands will round up half sizes into full sizes for example however I can understand how concerning that would be. We rarely have a great range of higher sizes available however please be assured your comments have been fed through to our buyers so they can look to improve the ranges offered to our customers in the future.
