“Ordered boots online boots arrived within 2 days so excellent delivery service. Unfortunately the zip on one of the boots is faulty and won't zip up as the other boots does. As returns have to be paid for it will be more cost effective for me to return/exchange at my nearest store which is 40 minutes drive one way. Consequently this has not been a very positive experience. I have the same style boots in another colour and love them and they fit fine so it has to be a product fault on this new pair”

“I ordered a lot of shoes online so I could try them on and keep one pair. I returned the shoes in store as this was free and less hassle than packaging everything up. The assistants in the Leeds store were friendly and helpful and processed my return quickly. I am really pleased with the Lotus shoes I chose. It would have been nice to get the matching bag but it wasn’t in stock in Leeds and I didn’t have time to order it in before my event.”

“My three stars is more for the boots not Charles Clinkard itself as they are really helpful, but the Askham reiker boot that I bought was a disappointment, there was no information regarding the fit so I went on the reiker website and checked it on theirs and it was classed as a wide fit +so going on this I ordered them, when I got them they were not a wide fit at all but very narrow so their information was poor also, so I had to return them and pay to do so. Please can you put the fit on your website as had I known it wasn’t a wide fit I would not have ordered them, I know that some shoe stores do put wether it’s standard or wide and I have a wide foot so this information would have been useful.”

“My wife required some comfortable shoes for a trip to Italy where we were to do a lot of walking within a city. She knew what she wanted, so we went ot Charles Clinkards in Shrewsbury. We were made to feel welcome from the moment we entered the store, and were left to browse until my wife had identified a numbe rof styles and manufacturers which would meet her need. When she wanted to try these on the staff were very helpful, bringing the styles, colours and sizes to her, so she could try them on, and providing different sizes as necessary. The whole visit was very pleasant, the staff were professional, and when a style she liked was out of stock in the size and colour she wanted arranged for it to be ordered and sent to our home. Cannot speak highly enough of the custome rservice we received.”

“Ravel Millport Womens Loafers - Lovely looking classic loafer but the only couple of occasions I wore them they caused sore areas on my feet so I gave up on them. I do not recommend them because they are extremely hard and do not flex at all and therefore are not fit for purpose. Whilst Clinkard offers a returns option, it is only if you haven’t worn them outside so doesn’t help. They look as new but I wore them outside. I don’t tend to wear shoes like this in the house.”

Thank you for your review, I’m sorry to hear that the Ravel Millport loafers caused discomfort during wear. It's disappointing when a shoe doesn't live up to expectations, especially when it looks lovely. If you wear them around the home to get used to them, you may find that as the material of the shoe warms, they do become more comfortable and mould to the shape of your feet.
