“Lovely shoes. Negative was they took longer to despatch/deliver than anticipated, the box was not in the best condition (lid was broken and had evidence of several stickers that had been applied to it) and the satin bag that is usually provided with Peter Kaiser shoes was not included.”

Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. We advise 2-5 working days for orders to be dispatched with our standard service and then it is down to the courier. As your address is in the Channel Islands, this may account for the longer than anticipated delivery but I apologise for any inconvenience caused. Boxes can unfortunately become damaged in transit but hopefully, it kept the shoes safe and in a satisfactory condition. “A very friendly and helpful staff member arranged for a home delivery of a pair of sandals that were of a colour not available in the store. I had tried on a pair in black, but wanted a lighter colour, and they were delivered well within the 5-day delivery window. Lovely and comfortable. I always end up buying at Charles Clinkard.”

“Gorgeous suede sock boots Charles clinkard had free home delivery. They stated on the website delivery could take up to 5 days but they were ordered on the Thursday and I received them on the Saturday with DPD. Would definitely choose Charles clinkard again.”

“I love shopping in my local store but on this occasion the trainers I wanted to purchase had to be ordered online. A simple process and the trainers were delivered a few days later. I ordered two sizes and the larger pair were too big so I can return this pair to my local store for a refund. All very easy.”

“This is my first order with this Company, and I'm not impressed. Delivery was on time, but when opened bag it came in, Skechers box damaged, which is not acceptable. Once damaged box opened, I couldn't believe that all the tags, which should of been on the boots, we're lying on bottom of box. This is clearly someone else's return.”

I left it quite late but we got to the Milton Keynes branch and Sheila greeted us straight away, was fabulous with my girls and had them both sorted and happy within 15 mins and made it so easy and stress free. “The Chichester store has a wonderful opportunity to dominate the children’s department for school shoes. Because they stock start right geox etc. unfortunately, I have to go much further afield, as the stock levels are always very poor in this department. The emphasis is adults in this branch. Missing a trick. Only Clark’s and clinkard have kids departments in the area. So travel to Southampton or Brighton.”

“After having a dreadful experience at Clark’s yesterday (& measuring my son’s feet wrong). I realised that we had a Charles Clinkcard close by (my usual shop had closed down). My son has special needs & Charles Clinkcard’s has always been the best place to get his feet measured. Today was no different. I had booked an appointment but did arrive quite early. The gentleman at the door said he would send someone over as soon as possible. Within minutes Joshua arrived & was happy for us to stay in the gentleman’s section, where it was quieter. After measuring my son, Joshua then helped my 10 year old daughter with measurements & shoes. The whole experience was calm & stress free. My son did not need my phone to distract him (which is always a bonus). My daughter left very happy with the shoes she loved, given how narrow her feet are this is no mean feat!!! Joshua is based at the Teesside store & has autism specific training. Definitely worth visiting Charles Clinkard & avoid the other chaotic shops for a stress free school shoe shopping experience 🎉 Thank you guys…keep up the good work, it makes a huge difference to families like mine.”
