“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I popped into the Charles Clinkard store in York recently to return a pair of trainers. Their 365-day no-quibble return policy is brilliant, and Cara sorted the refund quickly once the paperwork was done. What really impressed me, though, was the help I got afterwards. I was looking for a new pair of ankle boots to replace my old faithfuls (which had lasted me three years!), and Cara couldn’t have been more helpful. I picked out four pairs to try, and she tracked them all down for me. She even helped me get them on with a shoe horn — it felt like the kind of service you used to get in proper shoe shops years ago. She knew her stuff about the different brands I’d chosen, gave me useful advice, and honestly made the whole experience easy and enjoyable. Nothing was too much trouble. Thanks to Cara, what could have been a simple return turned into a really great shopping experience. I left with a lovely new pair of boots and a big smile.”

“Sadly, The Betty Messenger Bag i ordered did not have the same "leather look" as the Betty handbag i am using, the handbag that arrived has a shiny look to the leather which is not to my taste. Has the leather "look" been changed?”

“The shoes were too tight on my left foot. I returned,them to Ilkley branch where I was advised to go up a size . The staff were more than helpful showing me insoles which did the trick.”

“I usually purchase my footwear from Charles Clinkard being assured of their service and quality. Unfortunately I had to return my latest purchase of a pair of knee length boots as I found the foot too narrow for one of my feet. They were lovely boots and a good buy with a discount which was applicable at the time.”

“Hi I bought boots, unfortunately they were textile, I didn't realise until they arrived, unfortunately they were a bit on the large and heavy side, I'm Diabetic, so, I prefer to wear leather footwear, fortunately, my return has been quite straightforward, though I do think the return cost is rather unfair, I shall go to the shop in Leeds in future, the staff are really lovely!”
