“Efficient delivery service. I tried on a shoe in your Northallerton store which they did not have in the colour I needed. The very helpful assistant ordered it to be delivered to my home. Unfortunately when the shoes arrived the wrong shoes were in the box. Therefore I will be returning them.”

“Unfortunately the not-free returns won’t make me a repeat customer. I mistakenly read “Hassle Free Returns” on their website as if they were free returns, but they are not. For a products such as shoes that really need to be tried on, CC’s current policy just doesn’t work for the modern online shopper.”

Online orders can be returned to any Charles Clinkard branch excluding concessions. If posting to our Head Office, we do ask customers to cover cost of postage but offer a Royal Mail label for £3.20 on our websites return page. “I was served by Claire at the Northallerton branch. Claire was very helpful in assisting with sizes and offering her opinion on style and fit. It was also a lovely surprise when I paid at the till as the shoes were less than I expected. Great selection of shoes, boots and sandals at this store.”

“Fantastic Service today from Joshua in Charles Clinkard York this morning. I have been shopping at this branch for several years, there is always great choice from several brands,everything from strappy sandals and high heals to weatherproof winter boots. I was exchanging boots I bought yesterday as I changed my mind about the colour. This was all managed seamlessly, especially considering there was issues with the internet.”
