“Excellent quick delivery of shoes. Had to take back and was surprised the assistant wasn’t v sympathetic. I had found the shoe difficult to zip up on my foot. She just flicked the zip BACK and forth as if my complaint was unjustified.”

“Have bought from this company before so was happy to place an or again. However this time I paid for normal postage which was cheaper. The courier was the post office. As does happen the parcel arrived a day early and was informed by the post office of deliver day. Then much to my surprise a day later received a message to say it couldn't deliver as it had to be a day later by instructions of the supplier. All I could think of is WHAT …………. Though very pleased with the product.”

“I used to find the website very good. Its now deteriorated. Not as easy to find the shoes I want. You’re not stocking fashionable shoes for middle aged women.”

“Shoes ordered on line and they were received really quickly. Ordered 4 kept 2 pairs, and returned the other 2 to the local store no fuss at all. Very good quick efficient service.”

“The process was reasonably easy, I'm not good with tec. The shoes arrived quickly. It was really helpful to me that they gave a 4 hour window for them to arrive. I had to return a pair & had to pay £10.50 for returned tracking, which was a bit to high I thought ( the shoes were over £100)”

“Lovely shoes in a nice colour of dark blue. I’ve been after some like this for ages in patent. They are timeless. The right shoe slips off when walking, so I’ve had to pop in a gel sole, the heel grip didn’t work. Otherwise perfect, it’s probably just my feet!🤫”

“Prompt delivery. Second pair of boots arrived but had obviously been tried on before and consequently not packaged as nicely as first pair ordered, zips not done up and no packing in boots to keep shape. Kept both pairs but a bit disappointed in second packaging.”

“Fast delivery.The shoes I ordered were lovely but didn't fit so had to return them. A little disappointed that I had to pay to return them which was expensive as they ask you to return them by Tracked method. Refund came through very quickly though.”

Thank you for your review and comments about our service. There is a link on our website to collect Plus where for £4.49 you can create a label that covers up to 10 kilo of returns. Alternatively you can take back to any Charles Clinkard store or send second class Royal Mail with extra tracking. I do hope that this helps for future reference. “Was told I would receive text on day of delivery 3 to 5 working days ! goods arrived following day when I was out ! Great service but no delivery text. Customer service operator 5 star but delivery brings score down to 4”
