Paid for express delivery and was late arriving and the box was damaged badly before dispatch. All sides of the box were ripped. Very dissatisfied and won’t order again

On checking the order we tried to get in touch via telephone to let you know the order was delayed however were unsuccessful so we contacted you via your order and als refunded the extra postage cost you kindly pair. Please be assured when we dispatch items, we rigorously check the products and we ensure the box is in good condition. Although the box itself is there to protect the items and on this occasion it has protected the gift however we can appreciate how disappointed you would hae been and again are sorry. I ordered remonte ankle boots by phone. Order no 1293262 size 6. Maybe two weeks ago. The order wasn't confirmed by email and there was no phone call from my local shop. I rang your no again today -twice- someone rang back to,tell that these boots were lost in transit and that I hadn't been charged. Each person on the other of the phone was very pleasant but where did my order go?

I ordered shoes for my little girl for Christmas on the 13 th of December GUARANTEED by your customer services team that I would definitely have them for Christmas. It took 3 days alone for them to even be processed and shipped, here we are now at Christmas and no shoes, it's without a doubt the slowest service I have ever seen. To make it worse I order other things from the UK at the same time that had free delivery and they arrived 3 days later. Its not good enough and I will not be shopping with you again.

Hi Catriona, Thank you for your feedback. I am sorry for any confusion caused - but our Christmas guarantee was for order shipped on standard delivery - not international delivery. Shipping abroad does take longer, and also various things out of control can delay delivery, such as customs issues, so for this reason we would not guarantee delivery in the same time frame as that of our orders being shipped domestically. Bought some boots online. The ones sent are quite scuffed up, all creased in the toe and look like they've been worn beyond a quick try on. Seem to be missing the original tag as well so I suspect they have.

I twice asked dpd delivery service to leave with a neighbour because I couldn't be home and twice they didn't bother to knock at my neighbours who were home..they were taken back and consequently my little girl didn't get her shoes for her xmas play

Hi Alex, Thank you for your email and I am sorry to read of the problems you have had. I have looked into the tracking information for your parcel and can see that an attempt was made at both your property and your neighbours on both occasions delivery was attempted. The carrier maintains photographic proof of their attempt. It appears that unfortunately your neighbour was also out on the two occasions delivery was attempted. I can see the parcel was then delivered to your local pickup store to collect at your convenience, and that you have done this. ordered a pair of Seibel and they were too small. ordered a size up and they fit however the soles and base are 2 completely different colours ! as far as I am concerned they are seconds sold at full rrp.

I ordered patent boots for my daughter. When they arrived they were the leather version but on the box it said patent so clearly they had been put into the wrong box.. disappointing , I won't order from them Again.

I think charging £2.99 for express delivery and receiving shoes four days later is certainly not express. When shoes arrived clearly stated £32 on label but had been charged £35. After making phone call this was rembersed.

The online order arrived on time but once again no order confirmation was received. Unfortunately the boots I ordered were too small & I had to return to the Nottingham store. The assistant that served me was rude. No please, no thank you, I left the store in shock. My daughter was with me & we both just looked at each other in disbelieve at what had just happened. I buy or should I say used to buy all my shoes/boots from Clinkards but I am now in search of another Gabor stockist.

I think with it not being the first time this has happened, it might be worth checking your junk mail just in case your email service provider is incorrectly filtering the email out? We pride ourselves on our customer service in store, so I was disappointed to hear you didn't receive the level of service we would expect in our Nottingham branch. Unfortunately we are unable to offer a full refund until we have received the shoes you're unhappy with, back to us. We need to receive shoes back to determine there is a fault, after which, we are always happy to offer a full refund or an exchange. I understand we have given you a prepaid label to return them to us - but alternatively, you do live fairly close to a store - if this is more convenient for you. We do state in our Terms and Conditions we do not cover the cost of returning, as we do offer a free delivery, which we find to be of more benefit to our customers. You can purchase a CollectPlus returns label through our website which does standardise the price for up to 10kg of returns, which can be useful for customers purchasing several pairs for size. I went on to Clarks website for Clark’s boots, my order was transferred to Charles Clinkard. When my Clark’s boots arrived and I needed to return them I was expected to pay for recorded delivery. I contacted Charles clinkard and after discussion that In originally went on to a Clark’s website. I was sent a returns label but was told it is their policy to charge for returns. I have never found this before and shop online a lot but I won’t be shopping with Charles Clinkard again.

Bought a pair of shoes from the Redcar branch and they are lethal. Lunar is the make and the heals are plastic. I slipped and damaged my knee. The heals are lethal and they're expensive shoes.

I purchased a pair of Gabor ankle books on line taking advantage of your 15% discount, unfortunately they were too small I took them back to the local MK branch and asked if I could exchange for a size 5.5 which they happily did but then charged me full price instead of the discounted price. I could understand if it wasn't a straight exchange but surely they could have given me the same price I paid for them so now I feel like I was robbed!
