After ordering a pair of size 5 uggs. Then speaking to someone on your online chat to tell me they was the right size i was after. I got them gift wrapped for my girlfriend's birthday. Then i received them after double checking with your online server for them to be the wrong size. Now i have to go all the way to milton keynes for a refund. And the 21st birthday was ruined. Thanks.

Hello Michael, Thank you for your email. We are genuinely sorry that this has happened, looking at the item that you have bought, there are some of the colours that do not start until an infant size 7 and go through to the junior sizes. With the colour that you have bought, the shoes do start with the smaller sizing and I can see that you have been given incorrect information. As a general rule, if you are looking for the larger sizes, they will say junior on them and then you will ge the larger size. Very disappointed in the boots sent. They were dirty and badly packaged. They should never have been sold at full price.

"I'm extremely happy with my boots, and the quality of the product, also the service I reveived, when ordering the boots in store, the staff couldn't have been more helpfu. However , no care had been taken when packing the boots, one of the boots was folded in half, there was no packing. They, literally looked like they had been thrown into the box. I was very disappointed, with the quality of care taken when packaging my boots."

On checking the details of your order, we can see there was a concern raised regarding the fit of the product as it caused discomfort when wearing this. Our Customer Services Team inspected the items for you closely and took into account the issues raised and advised that there was no fault with the sandals, it was more to the item being unsuitable for you. When purchasing a new product, we suggest wearing the item around your home for a number of days to ensure they are comfortable, there is a 35 days returns policy in place which gives that extra bit of security to the customer. Awful. I ordered shoes with blue flashing lights. Upon arrival, the lights on one of the shoes did not flash at all. The other shoe did flash. These shoes were sent out without anyone checking them first! And then I saw that I was expected to pay the cost of returns! On a faulty item! And recorded deluvery was advised! So I called to say I was not prepared to pay for this and was sent a returns label. Then posted shoes back 3 days ago with request for an exchange but haven't heard anything since.

Wrong model sent and will be returning. It's annoying that returns are still not free even when the error is on the vendor's side.

This was on an overnight service however the courier have contacted us to advise they have been unable to deliver the parcel due to needing further information. We offer a free delivery service as it benefits all of our customers. It is in our terms and conditions and on the returns information on our website that the customer pays for returns or can take them to a Charles Clinkard store. You can also purchase a Collect + label on our website where you can buy a label for £4.45 which will cover up to 10 kilo of returns in one package. We are sorry that you are not happy with our policy but the majority of our customers prefer this way, than having to pay for delivery and then offering a free return. Dear John, Thankyou for your review. The Heavenly Hanworth shoes were part of the Spring Summer collection and at the point of the order being placed this was a low stock item. If an item says ‘Low Stock’, it means that we are in short supply of that style in the size and colour in question. This means that although you are welcome to place an order, we are unable to guarantee availability. In a minority of cases, we will contact you within 5 working days to let you know that unfortunately we cannot fulfil the order. If you have paid on your card, we only take payment on dispatch and therefore you will only be charged if the stock is definitely available and your order is ready to dispatch. We are very sorry we were unable to fulfill this for you and please be assured only payment for your additional pair was taken and I also note this has been dispatched. We hopefully may receive more of this style in 2018 and you are welcome to receive a noification should a pair become available. Wrong shoes sent, so therefore arrived to late for when I needed them, then ordered a Size 5, came more like a size 3. Very disappointed as exactly what I had been looking for, then had to pay to return them!

I ordered beige, (a light colour, same as 2 pairs I have had for a few years, which now need to be updated as they are looking well worn) Sadly the box the shoes arrived in , which was prompt, were a sort of grey. It had beige on the box,I already have a pair of grey, so I could compare. They sort of have a brown look on the grey. I was needing the light colour so I could wear them on holiday abroad,in the coming months. The shoes are alright for the Autumn in is country, but Not abroad.

We have checked the shoes alongside the image and can see there is a difference and have asked for a new image to be updated to reflect this. Unfortunately we dont have any lighter colours available in the style however they may be updated in the next season and hopefully some new options will become available. I ordered a pair of Clarks shoes which were in the sale and a really good price. I ordered to have them delivered by Collect+ to a local shop to avoid a delivery charge. Got an email with barcode in due course and collected them. Unfortunately the heels on one of the shoes was faded. The instructions on the delivery note said any shoes to be returned at my own cost, so I drove 15 miles to my nearest Clinkards to return them. The manageress inspected the shoes, rubbed a bit of spit on the heel and said she thought the heel just needed a clean, but I was not convinced and asked for a replacement. They did not have a pair in stock and so the manageress offered to order me a new pair. I said I would do this myself online as I wanted it delivering for free to a Collect+ store. She said she thought they could do this for me (which it turned out they couldn't, she was just desperate for the commission on the sale). After quite a wait she gave me a receipt and told me to contact the Customer Services with any problems. On looking at the receipt when I got home, it did not have my email address or any of my details to notify me the parcel would be delivered. I rang Customer Services and a lady took my email address and assured me the order was ok. A few days later I received an email from Royal Mail saying they were delivering my parcel to me at my chosen address. I knew then that the manageress at your store had just ordered the parcel to me with my address as a local shop. Obviously a got another email later saying delivery had been refused. Why would a shop take my parcel in for me to collect when they didn't know me from Adam?! Rang CS again and spoke to a really helpful lady who arranged for another pair of the shoes to be sent from a store that had stock. She left me a voicemail a couple of days later asking for a delivery address as the could not deliver to the Collect+ location. I rang back that day and gave my home address. The next day I had another voice mail asking for the same info. I rang back and said I had rung the day before with the info. The lady I spoke to insisted I hadn't and must have rung one of your stores. I told her I had definitely rung CS and spoke to a gentleman. She put me on hold and then came back and said no men had been working that day and I had rung the wrong ace. When she asked for my address, it turned out that surprise, surprise, my address details were already input. No apology for virtually calling me a liar, just a bit of mumbling about how there were no notes. Finally got my shoes a couple of days later. They were fine. Would I ever order from Clinkards again, even if it was a great price..... NO!

Ordered the pumps online as I needed them quickly. Paid for next day delivery & the pumps arrived only to find that the straps on the pumps were attached differently One shoe showed the Lellie Kelly logo one way & the other logo faced the opposite way up. Total disaster. Ok I got another pair from the Kirkcaldy shop but never the less I couldve done without the inconvenience that's why I had ordered online in the first instance. Don't think I'll be doing that again.

I was sent the wrong size shoes! When I queried this I was told it was my error so I had to pay for returns. When I pointed out the photographs I had sent showing it was clearly the wrong size did I then get an apology and that they were out of stock in the size I ordered. I could have retuned them but as they are too big and not too small I have put them away for my son. However I am very disappointed in the service I received and would be reluctant to order from you again.

I ordered sandals by telephone with necessary codes and when arrived by post they were completely wrong. Size was correct! Phoned to say what had happened they checked the order which was correct but wrong sandals said they would deliver the right ones and collect wrong ones. They would phone me to arrange delivery. They phoned it was to be in a few days and I would have to be in all day I did have slot the evening before. Good job I was retired.

When we arrange for a drop off and pick up at the same time, we cannot arrange a time as the courier has to arrange his route around the packages that he has on his van that day. Unfortunately for this reason we cannot give a time altough they may be able to give you a time on the day when they have arranged their route. I ordered home delivery and was in garden when delivered so they didn't leave took it to Reading 10 miles away thy would I shop on line if I needed to go to nearest town to pick it up still have not received my shoes

Thank you for your review. Looking at the tracking on your order, the courier tried to deliver to you on the 3rd and again on the 4th but there was nobody to take the parcel. When you get your first card, you can add a safe place where they can leave the package for you should you not be home. I am sorry that on this occasion that you were not able to do this. If you wish to order in the future, if you let us know your order number we would be happy to send out by Royal Mail for you, then should you not be home it would go to your local sorting office if this is easier for you.
