“I ordered some boots on line and unfortunately when they arrived they were a little big so I returned them to the Wilmslow branch and the young man who was actually from Cheltenham was very friendly & polite and professional he sorted everything out for me and ordered a smaller size for me! Excellent service!”

“I am a regular customer but was recently served by Donna at your Teesside Park store. She was very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful in finding the right school shoes for my granddaughter and when it came to the checkout, she noticed I was entitled to a discount which was an added bonus. Donna is definitely an asset to your team”

“The lady in the Teeside Park shop was fantastic. I bought a pair of shoes having looked around the store quite quickly. As I was leaving, I spotted a pair I liked better. She was so kind and refunded the first pair so that I could buy the others. My husband was really embarrassed by my request but the lady assured him it was no trouble.”

“We visited a store in Stratford upon Avon initially to window shop. The staff were friendly, and really helpful in bringing boots to try to help us find the right size. In the end I ordered a pair of boots to be delivered to my home as they didn't have my size. There was a new till that caused a bit of a delay. The staff were apologetic throughout.”

“Following an online order which took days to reach the store I decided to buy from elsewhere as I couldn’t wait [amazon]. This was only my second time in store with my partner and we could not believe how slow & dis engaged the staff were . Seriously need some social skills . Staff appeared awkward and honestly scared of the customers so bizarre and a weird experience all round”

“I have had excellent service from Charles Clinkard online . Deliveries have been quick and I am delighted that there is a long returns period allowed. I have bought 2 pairs recently and been able to choose between them. Charles Clinkard sells excellent quality footwear and I am pleased to have been able to buy a repeat of a style previously purchased 2 years ago.”

“The Sales Assistant was extremely helpful The boots were unavailable in the colour required but I was able to try a pair in another colour to ensure the fit was correct. The boots required were ordered with an option either to collect from store or have free home delivery and If they were not satisfactory they could be returned to the store with a full refund. The boots arrived three days later. Superb service. Thank you”

“Excellent choice of shoes and sizes suitable for my size 8 feet for my London trip, arrived very quickly, returns of the unneeded sizes and shoes to local store was convenient. Shoes themselves (Gabor trainers) were perfect. I will definitely use again.”
