“Went into your Burford branch , I was helped by a lovely young lady call Lauren , so helpful ,knowledgeable also , brought protector and polish . Love my new boots . This has made my week away just that bit more perfect 👌 , with comfy feet . Well done Burford branch . You got it just right , in all areas of service . Really can’t fault you . I be back . X from slightly older person , who’s young at heart ! with slightly dodgy feet. 🦶”

“Clinkards are the best shoe shop ever. The staff are always very helpful and polite .Very good service, I can't believe how quickly my gabor shoes arrived .My sister and I always shopped in Meadowhall store ,and we were sad when it closed,but its nice that we can ring up and order over the phone and speak to a person.”

“I found some lovely, unfortunately they weren't in my colour/size. The lovely assistant in the shop at York ordered me them. She said 4 working days delivery, which was fine by me, as we were staying in York for a few days. That was a Thursday and they arrived on the Saturday. Wonderful, I'm very pleased with them.”

“My order was swiftly dealt with and despatched the same day. The shoes were everything I hoped for but unfortunately they were too big and I have returned them foa a smaller size hoping to receive them soon. I have ordered from you previously and have always been delighted with my shoes. UNFORTUNATELY the delivery by Royal Mail was a disaster, I paid for next day delivery, I have complained to them. You despatched them the same day 4th November a e-mail came to say they would be delivered on the 5th when they didn't arrive I tracked them through their tracking service, the parcel didn't move from the first depot until the 9th November and was delivered on the 10th. I am not blaming you in any way but want you to know the outcome of their failure.”

“Love my new Rieker Jackie shoes in the chestnet combi. So comfortable, so easy to slip on, no settling in as with other makes of shoe, I love Rieker for being so comfortable from day one. Have usually had the Herbie shoes for Autumn a nd winter wear but fancied a change and I am not disappointed. Keep my feet nice and dry too. Ordered two sizes and took one pair back to my nearest shop in Warwick, lovely friendly staff there and my refund came through as promised. Great service all round from Charles Clinkard, thank you.”
