Thank you for your review. Although I'm happy to hear the quality was to a good standard, I am very sorry that the sizing was not as expected. This can sometimes occur if the width fitting is quite narrow, but understandably it is frustrating. “Actually purchasing from Clinkard's was straight forward as was delivery. Unfortunately tha shoes were not suitable and it was my intention to return them to Clinkards store in Meadowhall, and try some alternatives on. I was horrified to discover that the Meadowhall store had closed . I will now have to get a taxi to the nearest post office to return the shoes, whereas a bus would take me to the train station to get to Meadowhall. There is not an alternative Clinkards store near me, just a black hole between Nottingham & Leeds. I will NOT be ordering from Clinkards again.”

Thank you for your review. I am sorry to hear that your return process has been impacted by this closure. I understand this is frustrating when the Post Office is not as easily accessible. On our website we offer a Return Portal where you can buy a Royal Mail return label for £3.20. If you have a printer at home you can print the label and package the return, and then arrange for a Royal Mail collection so they can collect the return from your home at no extra cost. “I had a pair of Reiker trainers very similar to the pair I ordered from Charles Clinkard and loved them so much I have searched hoping they would be still available. When I saw these on line I had to order. They are comfortable and I love them so much animal print as it goes with everything and this model as the advantage of being slip on with no laces to tie.”
