“Ordered online. Completely wrong items sent. Returned to shop for next day delivery. Delivery took 4 days as central warehouse denied there had been a request for next day delivery. Initial error compounded. I would have given no stars if had not been for the help of staff at the Wetherby shop. Order fulfilment very important, not demonstrably CC.”

“Have bought from CC many times in the past and have always been 5 stars, however, on this ocassion I ordered two pairs of shoes, size 9 (btw, every pair of shoes I own are a UK size 9) and both pairs, from different makes, were absolutley massive! I actually checked the size on the shoe labels as I didn't believe these were 9's, they stated they were, the end of my toes were at least 25cms from the end of the shoes. Have they changed the measurements of UK size 9s? I will be dubious of making online orders in future. On a positive note, I will say that the ordering, delivery, returns and service from staff were all still very much 5 star.”

We do sell many different bands and they can differ slightly, but as a general rule the length should remain the same. “Excellent customer service by Claire at Darlington Clinkards. She was brilliant with my 3 yr old grandaughter. She spent a lot of time measuring and checking shoes and boots fit her correctly demonstrating her experience. I needed boots, trainers and school shoes so she helped me find two pairs in the sale. This helped enormously.”

“I was extremely annoyed that I had to return a pair of Nordica suede slippers because they were different shades ................ whatever happened to Quality control ?? ( Luckily, the pair ordered at the same time for my husband were ok) I was required to spend another £3.20 to return the faulty goods ............ why has this extra expense not been refunded also ?? This isn’t the standard we aim for. We do provide a label if there is a fault so that the customer does not have to cover the cost of the return, I am sorry that you were unaware of this and have refunded the cost of your return for you. “I have received my Gabor boots at second time ordering and they are brilliant. They were out of stock and the first time I ordered them, using my £11 rewards, the payment went through but then I heard nothing more. The payment wasn’t processed and the boots didn’t come. I don’t know whether they’d gone before they’d been dispatched. Unfortunately as well as no communication about my order being cancelled, when I tried to use my rewards money at second ordering, it said I had already used it, so I’m £11 out of pocket.”
