“Went into the newcastle store to get my sons first shoes, we were served by Beth who was absolutely amazing with him. She measured him and tried numerous pairs until we found the right ones, a lovely pair of start rite prewalkers. Doreen eas also there and was super friendly, talking to my son and getting lots of smiles!! It is such a friendly store, I wouldn’t go anywhere else!!”

“Wow! I ordered my Gabor Lake boots on a Wednesday afternoon and they arrived in Melbourne, Australia the following Tuesday afternoon. The postage was very reasonable. The boots look well-made and they are in just the right shade of brown I was after. The rubber sole looks good and sturdy. The side zipper is great for easy access.”

Unfortunately, these boots are not advertised as being waterproof and their design such as exposed stitching and the area around the laces are features which mean water ingress cannot be ruled out in inclement weather.
