“To be honest, I'd never heard of you. I must have seen some of your shoes somewhere in the press/socials and was intrigued enough to look at your site. I bought a pair of cork sandles and they are soooooo comfortable. I'll be wearing them all summer. Delivery was informative and the shoes arrived when they were due. “This was the first time I had ordered online from Charles Clinkard. I ordered one pair then continued browsing and found a second pair that I then bought too. I rang and a very helpful lady arranged for them to be shipped together and hence avoid extra shipping costs. I am delighted with both pairs- Gabor dressy suede sandals and the other pretty flat sandals. I will so enjoy wearing them. I was so pleased with the ease of ordering, speed of delivery and the fabulous range of shoes on offer.”

“Really appreciated being able to order two different sizes of shoe styles - being able to try these on in the comfort of my own home, meant I was 100% happy with my footwear. Arranging for the return of the unwanted footwear was straightforward. Although it should be pointed out that the chargeable QR code allows for the return of just ONE parcel. (So if your returns are packed in their original 2 bags, you will need to securely tape them together.)”

“I always check out Charles Clinkard when looking for shoes on line. They have a large selection to chose from and usually have all the sizes available. The returns system is very simple to use and refunds are dealt with promptly. Although customers pay for returns I find it important to get the correct fitting so I am happy to pay the postal charge if I am unlikely to be visiting one of their stores.”

“Lovely shoes, really comfortable. Both my wife and i love them. I recently ordered a pair of shoes for myself and a pair of slippers for my wife, both arrived quite quickly. We then decided to visit the local store where i purchased another pair of shoes a day later and ordered a pair of sandals for my wife. Although we received the pair of sandals with a flaw in them, Customer services were helpful and provided us with a free returns label and the sandals were replaced within the week. Very pleased!”

“I ordered online when this company was offering double points on any purchase. I didn't hear from the store where I was due to collect from, and later found this was because they had an old phone number, but they did have my email,which they never thought to use. When I contacted customer services I was told the shoes were ready to collect. When I tried them on they were slightly too small so I thought I could exchange them for a larger size. This was not possible as the first purchase was an online one so I had to accept a refund and lose my double points offer. I did buy another pair but the double points could not be carried over. Customer services and assistants in the shop were very helpful but the system seems to have let me down.”

“I have been to your Copper Gate shop in York twice and the service has been excellent . First visit , I bought 2 pairs of shoes. Today , I returned and was greeted by Sue , she remebered me which was really nice . It must have been my red and black Gilet . Anyway , how could I resist such a lovely lady , so I bought another pair . I'll definitely be back . Highly recommend . Jeremy”
