Disgraceful. All good unless something goes wrong with supply then they just dump you and pass the blame to supplier. They don't contact you to warn you order may be delayed. They don't compensate you for any delay. They tell on the order will arrive on or before a date, if it doesn't arrive they take no responsibility and just dump you. Even if you have noil oil for 2 weeks. Completely unsympathetic customer service and lack of ownership for problems. Do no use, they let you down. They should be more in touch with their suppliers and know when things will be delayed and forewarn customers. Disgraceful. Don't be caught out by this lots easy to use website. Book direct instead

I have been with boiler juice for ten years without too many concerns but have now withdrawn my account due to how they responded to my complaint regarding a oil delivery. The supplier ,halos, delivered 400 litres of oil instead of the requested 500 litres taking my oil tank up to 6 on my reader and 2/3full.I then had a email stating they couldn’t fill the tank as it was full and the oil company charged me ten pounds as they couldn’t fill the tank, the oil reimbursed was charged at a higher rate than what I had payed for it and despite numerous calls and emails to both companies they have blamed me for my tank, the last excuse being a pressure gage on my tank so it tells you when it’s full, which we have not got!!!Clearly boiler juice can see on my account how much oil I have ordered and my usage in my history, but have offered no apology and as one of their customers taken the suppliers fabricated side.As oil tank users we have to be aware of fuel delivery drivers under delivering etc and the price at the moment is expensive so please be aware if this happens,I will not be using either of these companies in the future

Could not be bothered to turn up and lie

No delivery as promised no process to overcome the supplier’s failings. No oil and no great expectation of it arriving within a week. It seems you order at your peril so buyer beware.

They are too big, and it feels like they ultimately don't care. I ordered on the 3rd Nov for a delivery on 17th Nov. This date was missed and after 2 other missed dates, they eventually came on the 25th Nov but wouldn't come into the property as the pipe was "too dirty". Didn't make sense but they were adamant, so I'm 22 days in and no oil. I cancelled and to be fair the customer service team were nice - I didn't appreciate this service charge of £5 which is now £11 and no matter how hard you try, you will not get that back. It feels really galling to pay for a service, which isn't provided only to be £11 out of pocket, how is that right? If you do insist on using them then give yourself plenty of time - assume it won't work and you will need to go local.

The frustrating thing is that Boilerjuice used to be great. Competitive price, good experience when interacting. I've tried twice since November and both have been awful. The first time I didn't get a supplier till way after due date, they let me down four times and when they did come they wouldn't enter my garage as they didn't want to dirty it. I ended up cancelling in the end and getting a local delivery, with a service charge of £5 which I could live with. The second time they again missed the due date, and on speaking to the supplier they admitted that they couldn't confirm when it would arrive. It was because of this I again cancelled but this time got hit with a whopping £11 service charge! I complained but they said because I cancelled before the due date I had no case, I said that isn't accurate and they should speak to the supplier but I've heard nothing, and ultimately got nothing back. I've given up now on them and the surprising thing is if you go with a local supplier and ask them to price match you'll be surprised how close they get. If you do insist on going with them, push for clarity on the supplier and just call them direct. If you do need to cancel wait till the day after the due date and that way you can complain and hopefully get the service charge back. Good luck if you do go with them though.....

Order was not delivered on time. Then after given a second delivery date it still wasn’t delivered despite it being 3 weeks since it was ordered. No one contacted me, I had to phone and email most days to find out what was happening. After no delivery after 3 weeks, I cancelled the order and was only partially refunded because of a service charge, despite none of this being my fault. Awful service.

Absolutely shocking customer service. Ordered oil on 30/1 and told delivery would be on or before 13/2. Received emails and texts confirming oil was routed for delivery. No oil delivered - no contact regarding delivery. Called boiler juice at 9am 14/2 to be told that the supplier can’t deliver the oil today and also can’t give a date for delivery. Boiler juice confirmed that they have no solution other than to cancel the order and re-order or pay the extra for an emergency delivery.

Absolutely shocking customer service. Ordered at a premium for express delivery which was meant to arrive on or before a certain date now 4 days on from the latest date and still no oil. Even though there is a vulnerable person at the address refused to do anything, other than saying they would contact us back the following morning 1st thing, and then not doing so.

Terrible customer service. Paid a premium for Christmas delivery which was 2 weeks late. Customer service would not respond to messages and never phoned back despite promising to. Got £15 ‘compensation’ which can only be used as a voucher on future orders. Blamed all on their supplier and refused to acknowledge their poor service. Would not recommend.

Charged £11.99 admin fee to cancel my order despite the fact that it was their suppliers error - apparently I have poor access to tank despite the fact that we have NEVER had issue with access ,which they could check on their system as been using Bolierjuice for over 4 years! In addition we were in all day and no delivery was even attempted - yet Bolierjuice charged me for cancelling the order and going elsewhere - shame on you, will never use again.

Quite appauling customer service. Had an order 10.12.22 due days before Xmas ,didnt arrive ( no communication re delay I chased ). Caused anxiety over Xmas. Arrived on 28.12.2022. Have been told i will get a discount/part refund given they failed to meet the delivery date. 7 Emails & 11 Phonecalls, 3 requests to speak to a manger, no call back whatsoever. They put the F in being FOBBED off. Make your own judgement.Try your local supplier.

ooooh! I'm still waiting for a delivery that was ordered on 9th Dec 22, supposedly delivered on 20th Dec22 now it's 17 Jan 23, I complained so they closed my account, I've made 41 phone calls. still no oil or refund. The matter ahs been referred to the OFT and the complaints commission, Boilerjuice have responded saying the matter is being dealt with. Well I'd like to see the oil or my money, they are robbers who have stolen £2000 of my money and I want it back!! but you can always go online!! OH! NO your account has been disabled. sounds like a Sci-Fi plot!! they have left me without oil or an explanation.

Awful company zero customer service still waiting for oil ordered on 23rd December! Disgrace - interesting that all the positive reviews are completely non-descript! FAKE!

AVOID - Had exactly the same issue as other one star reviewers. Order was paid for and scheduled for a date, nobody arrived. Had an email 6 days later stating tanker had visited but had (unsustained) concerns about the tank and access - we have cameras on the property, no truck ever arrived, never had any issues with the access to the tank with any previous delivery. Poor service - deceptive. AVOID

This is the second time I have paid online with money taken out of account to find there was a ‘problem online’ and although money was in account the earlier date had passed and I needed to pay £15 more for the same order. Really? This was promised to be credited but not. No oil delivered over Christmas as booked. Now the 7th January - no oil, no contact. Boiler juice used to be excellent. Now they are abysmal. What a shame.

Just like everyone else, ordered on 9th December, and was promised delivery on or before 23rd December. Then delayed to on or before 31st December. It is now 5th January and still no delivery. No reply to two emails, and gave up waiting for phone to be answered after 45 min. Contacted local oil delivery company on Tues 3rd January and had a delivery today 5th Jan. What is wrong with Boilerjiuice ? Have used before and service was good, but will NEVER use again.

Important Boilerjuice claim your contract is with the supplier and they are just a broker. This is false. You paid the money to them and not the supplier. They made a contract with the supplier. Not you. Any refund must be refunded to the card or bank, origin of payment. Not your 'tank account.' It even states this in their own terms of service. If you ordered fuel and it was not delivered boilerjuice are in breach of contract. This is confirmed with Citizens Advice. Seek compensation. Seek advice. Report.

NON DELIVERY - DREADFUL SERVICE I placed an order for Domestic Heating oil on 10th December 2022 and was advised by email that it would be delivered on or before 23rd December. The price was also competitive, however this is where the good news came to an abrupt halt. On the 21st December I was advised by email that my delivery had been delayed to 31st December. As a retired couple who are mostly at home I rushed out and checked my tank level and worked out I should be able to last until the 31st, but only just. I phoned Boilerjuice and after 40 minutes of waiting on the phone, the Customer Service rep definitely confirmed that all was okay for the oil to be delivered on or before the 31st Dec 2022. I also followed this up with several emails and customer support forms which to this day I never had a reply to. However, a couple of days before the 31st December I then received another email stating that the delivery had been delayed again, but this time no delivery date can be given! I phoned Boilerjuice again and was told there was nothing they could do as they had absolutely no leverage over their chosen supplier. This was astounding to me as they they were happy to take my £621 immediately on the 10th December (almost a months before). I also emailed and raised a formal complaint, again no reply to this day. This remained the situation until the 4th January 2023 when I decided I just had to cancel my order, and order from a local supplier This was outrageous service provided to a retired couple who had to sit in a cold house throughout the New Year. In the end I had to cancel my order, fight to get the £15 Boilerjuice Admin fee back, and re-order locally. Boilerjuice are just a distribution organisation who choose the cheapest supplier based on the large orders they place (which is why their prices are competitive). BUT they appear to have absolutely no leverage over these suppliers and therefore paying the cheaper price is definitely not worth it.

Having placed an order with Boiler juice on 3rd December for 500 litres of heating oil to arrive on or before 21st December I am still waiting. Received an automated call at 9pm on the 20th to advise delivery was scheduled for following day. No oil was delivered. Phoned to complain and eventually got through after 45 minutes wait to be told it would be resolved and delivered on the 30th December never came no contact etc. Rang today Jan 3rd 50 minute wait to be answered- not our problem supply issues is all I got out of them, Again no oil was delivered. Boiler Juice have sold me oil that they cannot provide. Their customer service is shocking as echoed by all the latest reviews, AVOID!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
