AVOID AVOID AVOID for the second time running (Yes I was stupid enough to use them for a second time!!!) I have placed an order delivery day arrived wait in all day at 4pm I call for an update to be told my order is not coming. No they hadn't bothered to notify me no I've had no communication of when it might arrive no they cant speak with the company to get a rough estimate of time no senior members of staff available and couldnt supply details of their complaints procedure.

Do not in any way, shape or form bother. They CANNOT control your order. They failed to arrange delivery of my oil 5 TIMES. the consequences? My 1 year old daughter freezin, without hot water, an astronomical electrical bill and excuses for the worst service I've ever received. Their solution? 1p a litre (which totalled just over £5). I complained and NOONE will help you I've had it escalated and THEY WILL NOT BOTHER. They cannot even meet their promise of calling you back. I am going to the press, UKIFDA(their regulator) and trading standards as noone should go through what I've been through. They are a disgusting bunch of crooks. My advice is go direct to supplier as trust me this is not worth it

DO NOT USE. I would rate 0/5 stars if I could. Unless you have a brand new oil tank I would not recommend - had no issues for multiple orders from Boiler Juice until today when they organised a new supplier and the driver fabricated a story that our oil tank was leaking so they could not deliver. Leaving us with no heating fuel in the middle of winter. The tank is older and shows some wear and tear but is in PERFECTLY good USABLE condition with NO LEAKS and is regularly serviced. We have had no previous issues until TINCKNELLS FUELS were used to deliver. Boiler Juice have now decided to deduct £40 from my payment due to this. Rude customer service individual who HUNG UP on me when I tried to accelerate the refund process after delivery failure. I would recommend using WESTERN FUEL direct who funilly enough have no issues delivering to our oil tank. Absolutely disgraceful customer service. Will never use again.

I addressed why boiler juice need to confirm scheduling in my last email after not receiving a heating delivered schedule for over three weeks but it’s ok to leave a vulnerable person ‘NOW LATE’ stating this as it was plain to see boiler juice should be aware of scheduling issue to meet customers advised latest delivery dates! Boiler juice just blame the suppliers who are very easily contactable in my experience from finally picking the phone up after boiler juice distracting the supplier will refuse to speak to me! The supplier actually now has my direct orders. You idiots at boiler juice just carry on saying ‘I don’t know it’s the suppliers issue’ for a leading company is disgusting. I didn’t expect an apology but I will be complaining and taking this as far as I can including the papers and social media I was told last week the supplier hadn’t confirmed… you are a market place chase or change suppliers!!! No wonder boiler juice have a disclaimer to all customers before speaking to a human you are all no better than uneducated call centre staff with 0 intelligence I can imagine a customer getting frustrated with having no hot water or heating is abuse to you woke wet wipes. Try thinking for yourselves 🤯. Instead of hiding behind a rubbish company’s policies. If you want customer service don’t bother.

Avoid at all costs. I ordered oil as my supply was running low and chose BoilerJuice specifically because they offered the earliest delivery date. The oil did not arrive on the date I paid for. When I contacted customer service, I was simply told that the order was delayed, no further updates were available, and that I would have to wait until it eventually turned up. After waiting another four days, I called again and was told they still didn’t know when it would arrive — maybe later that week, maybe the next — with no ability to give a delivery date at all. Despite this, they refused to cancel the order and issue a full refund unless they deducted a “service charge” from the repayment. As a result, I was forced to place an emergency order with another supplier at a much higher cost just to avoid running out of oil. Terrible communication, no accountability, and completely unhelpful customer service. I would strongly advise anyone considering using this company to look elsewhere.

BoilerJuice are trying to charge me for a “ failed delivery” which was not my fault. I can give further details if I have to. O have written to the CEO. Such a shame as until Christmas Eve I had always been very happy with Boilerjuice’s service.

Dreadful Service and Avoidable Aggregation: Buy Direct Instead! I had an utterly dreadful experience with boilerJuice.com Dealing with them was incredibly frustrating, especially when facing an urgent need for kerosene. Their entire operation seems designed to be a barrier rather than a facilitator. Key Issues Encountered: Inexperienced Call Centre Staff: The service provided by their call centre staff was poor. They appeared inexperienced and lacked the necessary information or authority to resolve time-sensitive issues and failed to return any calls Aggregating, Not Delivering: BoilerJuice acts as an intermediary, aggregating orders and negotiating with third-party suppliers. This process is inherently flawed, as their system is reportedly updated only once or twice a day, making it completely incapable of dealing with genuine emergency requests. Delivery Failure: After agreeing on a specific delivery date, the delivery failed entirely. This is unacceptable for a critical service. Profiteering Intermediary: They charge a fee for a service that is slower and more expensive than going direct to distributors; what are the USP's? The Solution: Buy Direct I bypassed BoilerJuice and contacted a distributor directly: Barton Petroleum in Northampton. Better Price: Barton Petroleum quoted a price for kerosene that was £0.07 a litre LESS than BoilerJuice. Reliable Service: They were capable of organising next-day delivery, demonstrating a service with "teeth" that the aggregator simply cannot match. My strong advice is this: Rather than buying fuel from an aggregator like BoilerJuice who charges a fee and is reliant on an antiquated rather than a real-time system, buy directly from the distributor. Negotiate the best deal you can and rely on a service that can actually deliver on its promises. Avoid the intermediaries who are simply profiteering from service charges and completely in the hands of third party service.

I’m genuinely shocked by how poor my experience with BoilerJuice has been. I’d used them once before without issue, but this time the delivery company they arranged arrived at 6:30 in the morning, called my phone (which was off at that hour), and then drove away without even ringing the doorbell — which is literally two metres from the gate. To make matters worse, I was then charged a £40 “failed delivery” fee. I assumed BoilerJuice would see how unreasonable this was - after all, what delivery driver doesn’t try the doorbell? - but incredibly, they refused to refund it. It’s honestly infuriating that such a simple issue could be handled with so little common sense or accountability. I’ve since moved to a local heating oil company, where I can actually speak to people who care. I’d strongly advise others to do the same and avoid this frustrating, faceless service.

I placed and paid for an order for 1000lts of fuel. Delivery was due on or before Sep 9th. No delivery was made and Boilerjuice confirmed delivery by 11th September. On 11th September, they told me the supplier had delivered only 224lt. I wrote back to say there had been no delivery at all. On 12th September BJ said they would investigate and get back to me and refunded the 776lt not delivered. I asked for a replacement delivery and explained that we had no oil. They asked if there was anyone over the age of 75 in the house. I said my 85 year old mother would be here on the 17th September. They said they couldn't take further orders while this one was in query. Since the I have called on 4 separate occasions and asked to speak with a Manager. On each occasion I have been told that they are 'not allowed' to connect the call to a Manager but promised a callback. Surprise, surprise, you guessed it. A week has gone by with no callback, no apology, no refund, no compensation and I have had no option but to purchase oil from a local supplier at short notce at a higher price. I would politely suggest the Directors of this business, Rose Brewin, Tim Buckman and Charles Crier review how their Management team manager their customer service. It's a core indication of a good business that they can handle issues not just take money. It's both interesting and noteworthy that Boilerjuice's automated phone service explains to callers that 'staff will not tolerate abusive behaviour and that their agents are here to help. Any abuse may result in the termination of the call.' One wonders why they state this and whether their customer service is of such a poor standard that it enrages their customers ....

Rubbish service. Ordered next day delivery but Boilerjuice claimed the delivery driver could not access! Then claimed they sent pics of the poor access. Never received!! Complete lie!! We have been here 22 years and never had any issue before. Now have problems with our Aga. Because of their dishonesty!

Paid in advance to boiler juice who. It says on our order to call 30 minutes before arrival. The driver didn’t bother. We said we would be there in 5 minutes he wouldn’t wait. Now they have charged us £40 for not delivering. We’ve asked for the money back minus the £40 we are both pensioners. So we went directly to an oil company. It works out much cheaper cutting out the middle man

Ordered oil with note that needed long hose to carry it over a bridge a couldn't drive on the bridge. The last 2 orders were delivered fine with this note. Last week they say they can't do that, so oil not delivered. I ring and speak to someone, they say will sort and redeliver. They come back today, same problem. I needed it delivered prior to a funeral which is leaving from my house. They won't guarantee that and pay for the extra, expecting me to. So, to summarise: I ordered oil weeks ago with a note that it needed to go over the bridge, as it had previously. Their supplier refused to deliver it, I was clear what was needed, then they won't cover the uplift to the higher price to get it delivered before a funeral leaves from my house. Even if there wasn't the funeral to deal with, they still failed to deliver the oil, I've wasted my time on 3 phone calls, and have now cancelled the order and will have to source from elsewhere. How appalling.

We ordered oil on the 19th February …it was to be delivered on the 5th March. On the 7th March we were emailed to say that the supplier couldn’t deliver! No explanation! I phoned Boiler Juice several times asking for an explanation and a date for delivery. No response. By Monday we were almost out of oil. The company were aware that we are in our 80’s and vulnerable..again phoned several times ..in distress by now as the forecast was for cold weather. I was given the complete run around..eventually a text was received saying that a standard tanker had been unable to our property, a complete lie as the same company had delivered many times before using a standard tanker. Eventually a text was received stating that we would have oil by Thursday….22 days after we had ordered and paid for it! Outrageous that they would leave two old people who had been loyal customers with no heating or hot water for days…a truly appalling company. We were advised to phone another company who not only will deliver the next day but wouldn’t charge extra for this service because of the situation we had been left in! I don’t expect an apology…but any decent company woukd want to make amends!?

What a con! We ran out of heating oil in February and had sick children in the house, so I paid extra (about £250 extra) to have the oil delivered quicker. They oil was not delivered on the day promised (it was delivered later when I would not have had to pay the extra). I got £25 compensation! Don't trust them! They sell you a service, don't provide it, and then keep your money! All they say is that the oil provider doesn't give any more compensation. Not their fault! Promises broken, your money gone!

Delivery driver claims to have called and left a voicemail, but didn't. They then cancelled the delivery and charged me £51.99 due to not being able to deliver (despite them being told there was no access to the tank when the order was made and that contact was required for access). Dealing with Boiler juice's customer service team as a middle-man to resolve the issue was useless as they just blame the delivery company. Driver has conveniently deleted his call logs from that day so they cant provide evidence of calling. Save yourself a lot of effort and just go direct to any oil provider. ANY oil provider will be more useful than BoilerJuice.

Appalling company. Ordered on 10th Feb for 24th Feb delivery. Phoned on 24th as no delivery notification received. Have spent all week chasing and just get fobbed off with "we're awaiting an update from the supplier". I called the supplier directly but they can't help as the contract is with Boiler Juice, not them. So left with little option but to cancel and now pay a premium to get an express delivery from a local supplier. I won't use Boiler Juice again and strongly advise others not to either.

Do not use this Company. They fail to deliver on appointed date and customer service totally disinterested.

Terrible company. Was told we would get an oil delivery on 18 th Feb and it didn’t turn up, after a phone call I was told it wouldn’t be arriving until the following Tuesday. This order was for a 93 yr old lady who needs her heating on all day and was running low. After using this company for approx 20 years NEVER AGAIN.

Avoid this company!! .. as with other reviews order delayed by over a week on agreed date no resolution with any confidence given. Cancellation resulted in charges .. customer service staff friendly but completely powerless - I never leave reviews but others should know the real issues and pay a bit more from a different company for piece of mind
