“Had our Bibo for a few years now. Love the convenience of instant hot water for drinks, cooking and warming pasta bowls. The cold, filtered water makes drinking the suggested 2 litres a day much more enjoyable! The service from Bibo has always been excellent and the customer service has been prompt and friendly.”

“We love our Bibo water and enjoy crystal clear, clean water whether chilled, boiled or ambient temperature with no chlorine taste - so convenient! I chose a Bibo over a boiling water tap when we had a new kitchen and have not regretted it! Cost effective as cheaper to run than a kettle, especially when some family members 'filled' the kettle and forgot to use filtered water (ugh!)! The machine reminds you when it needs the tank cleaning and a new filter (six monthly) and a replacement ultra violet lamp (yearly) and the maintenance is easy to carry out with the Bibo instruction booklet. The Bibo staff are very efficient, friendly and helpful if you need advice and their delivery service for replacement filters, etc., is excellent! One very happy customer, thank you!”

“Had our Bibo Classic now for a number of years. It is used regularly every day for both hot and chilled water and we think that it is brilliant. Over the years we have occasionally asked the customer service team a question and their response has been prompt and efficient. Replacement filters arrive annually like clockwork. We have one design suggestion. The recess where the cups\pots are stood could do with being a bit wider in order to fit in more bulbous dishes and pots. So 5 stars from us.”

“We bought the BIBO classic for our flat share of 9 people and it has been great right from the start. Friendly staff and engineers and easy installation. The machine itself does make the water taste better and gives you instant hot / cold water along with the power settings makes it energy efficient. We are all very pleased and don't know how we used to live without it as we fill up the cold water jug every evening for dinner (although will do one large jug instantly will take 10 mins to do two large jugs) and have hot drinks all through the day. I've just cleaned the tank and changed the filter for the first time, takes a bit of getting use to but the after sales support has been excellent and sorted me out without problem so very appreciate of that. Would suggest having an "advance" power mode option to easily change to sleep mode when you know you're going out etc. Other than that can't fault it.”

“It is good to have chilled water all day long. I am not happy with the cleaning filter as the part that needs to be undone is made of flimsy plastic & does not last very long.”

“I've had my Bibo Classic for just over four years but it has recently given some trouble and I have just found water pouring from somewhere under the unit. I made a call to arrange for a repair but was given an appointment two weeks hence. I do not believe this is acceptable but we customers are a captive market for expensive spares for filters, bulbs and descaling chemicals and any subsequent maintenance or repairs. So caveat emptor. Having said that, I did like it but should it fail again, I would decommission it and bring back my Bosch variable temperature controlled kettle and my trusty filter jug. I'm afraid it is a case of not bye, bye kettle but go buy kettle.”

“We love our Bibo machine, We live in a hard water area and Bibo gives us lovely clear water, both hot and cold at the touch of a button. It is more expensive to run than we first anticipated, but it is worth the expense. We have been unlucky with the machine leaking quite often, but the after sales service was quick to respond, and the lovely Gary turns up like a knight in shinning armour and fixes it. The extended warranty is essential, but our machine is out of warranty now, however, Bibo did not charge for the last call out, which we think was excellent service. We would prefer it not to be so expensive to run, especially as Gary has now advised us to descale it three times a year instead of just twice, it is still worth it to get a decent cup of coffee and tea, and most importantly no more bottled water.”

“Loved it at first but after nine months started problems - the end conclusion is do not have Bibo mains water going through a Combimate - if only we had known that from the start things might have been different but it was not until lots of flooding episodes and several visits from the engineer that the problem was identified. The normal tank descaling does not help so we are uninstalling Bibo today. Memorial service next week.”

Thank you for your feedback, Stephanie. We have many customers who have successfully connected their BIBO to the popular ion exchange softening system which removes the calcium & magnesium from the water completely & alleviates the need to clean the BIBO hot tank. The COMBIMATE system doesn’t remove the hardness but attempts to stop scale forming by dosing the water with polyphosphate. This results in the build-up ‘loose’ scale particles in the BIBO hot tank which are more difficult to remove even with regular cleaning. Connecting the BIBO to an untreated water supply & cleaning the tank regularly would be the best solution. Please do get in touch with us if you'd like us to come out and re-install your BIBO! :)

“Excellent piece of kit I thought about a hot water tap but this is so much better - we have never drank as much water and the simplicity of making a hot drink is a real hit. Installation was done speedily with a minimum of mess which was cleaned up and taken away and the chap was really friendly too.We love this and would recommend it to anyone.”

“we love having quick access to filtered chilled and hot water. Our kitchen and living area is open plan and boiling the kettle was always a noisy process.....don't miss the noise or the steam. I was surprised how easy the bibo was to install, especially as my husband had never done anything like this before.”
