paid my anual subscription then when chasing where my filter and clean kit is got a message saying sorry out of stock and may be a month. Not particularly happy if I was a new customer i would have cancelled.

This is our second Bibo Water Machine, unfortunately something has changed with this product. , or we have a lemon. Our first machine lasted 10years without any issues, this machine has lasted 3 years and of course is just out of warranty. We are left with a water damaged bench, unusable machine and expensive quotes on techinician call outs (we are in a trade business and wouldnt dream of charging the same costs). Customer service terrible, clearly this company has moved to a continual add on product approach to compliment revenue so if you want your machine to last you have to keep putting your hand in your pocket. Will never buy another one and will not recommend. A complete turn around for us as we recommended our previous machine to any one who asked when in our office. Sad but true.

The machine is good but customer service not so much. Also be aware everything they sell are in packs meaning if you want to get a UV lamp you can't. You need to buy the whole pack that have filters etc that you already subscribed to. So basically if your UV lamp broke earlier that the yearly subscription, you have additional 2 filters. Or buy a kettle since you can't dispense water without UV lamp.

We've been loyal customers of Bibo for 4 years. We had an issue with the firmware from day one where I identified a bug with the energy saving functionality. It took a long time to resolve mainly due to covid. However, it was rectified by replacing the internal circuit board. Unfortunately, the history of the filter and UV change was lost which skewed the date / notification when I should replace the UV bulb. It turns out the next maintenance pack that included as UV is not needed. I have asked if they can remove this from the pack given it will never be used - I got a flat no, I "have" to pay for the bulb regardless of if its needed or not, and I got no response to my statement of the faulty firmware causing the mix up with replacement notifications. So, after 4 years, it seems they are happy for me to go to their competition for what is a relatively (to them) a simple issue to resolve - but Kayleigh - Head of Customer Service is not interested on helping us out with this. Fine, we'll check out Bibo alternatives. Loyalty is clearly not valued at Bibo.

Many thanks for your feedback. We're very sorry to hear that you are not happy with the recent service provided when enquiring about removing an item from your annual subscription delivery. Regrettably, as the UV Lamp is part of an annual subscription, we are unable to remove this on just 1 occasion, and amend the price. We are very sorry that on this occasion we have not been able to honour the request.

We have had our Bibo for 3 years and it has been good but as soon as something goes wrong that is when they show their true colours. We have not had a working machine now for nearly two weeks. They will not arrange a time with us that suits us both just phones and tells us when an engineer is in the area and expect us to fit in with them. We looked to cancel our agreement but if we cancel now they say we have to pay all payments to the end of the year. I would suggest everyone reads the contract well before you sign as they do not point this out and there is nothing in the contract that says they have a responsibility to make sure customer has a working machine. Never had this with Virgin and I am very disappointed with the customer services we have received

Thank you for your feedback. I am very sorry that you are not entirely satisfied with the recent service received. All of our engineer visits are scheduled and managed by our technical partners, so I can only apologise that the repair visit was not easily arranged with you. With regards to the terms of our rental agreement, these are laid out in the rental agreement document & terms and conditions that are sent to and signed by our customers prior to the installation of the machine. We will certainly look into the way in which this information is shared with our customers to make sure this is clear to avoid any future disappointment.

Waited in 3 times, no visits no calls email saying we weren't in, turns out they were going to the wrong house, still not received filters now they're out of stock

At the moment to give 2* because they messed up my delivery and installation which meant to happen at the same time...(its a no brainer idea to do happen at the same time) However the installation company sent the machine ahead via courier & of course since no notice about this, then the delivery was missed and the installer came the following day looking for it... He could have brought it by himself..?

I placed an order for a product which said it was available within 2/3 working days. I received a message a couple of days after placing the order saying that in fact the product was not available and would not be available until September. Rather frustrated, I asked for a refund which was processed in a timely fashion. I found another provider who supplied the product the very next day.

It is just as as frustating for us as it is for you that there was a delay in our delivery of the BIBO Fizz! As I am sure you can understand, the international shipping crisis has affected many businesses like us! It's a real shame you were not happy to wait for your order. :(

I was told that my order would be delayed by several weeks so I replied to customer service asking that the delivery charge be refunded. A fortnight later I have still heard nothing back.

I haven’t even received my machine yet they came to fit it without me or my partner knowing so neither of us was home and now they are just saying someone will be in touch but that was nearly 2 weeks ago they came and have still taken my money

I'm yet to receive an email from yourselves about when the machine will arrive and when an engineer will contact us. However you took the money out of my bank account on the 6 April, yet no one has been in touch.

Main review can be seen on Trust Pilot, as requested this is a short summary of my experience, Bibo hot water gives tea and coffee an unpleasant taste so that they are basically undrinkable. Apart from the taste the cold water is not cold enough, the lower limit of 4° produces a tepid drinking experience. Food boiled in Bibo water impairs the flavour. Only use now is for things like boiling eggs. Have reluctantly gone back to the use of fridge filtered water. Disappointed, was looking forward to having fresh, pure filtered water on tap.

Hi Alan, thanks very much for your feedback. The BIBO produces really great tasting water so if you are experiencing a taste taint then please do let us know so we can look at getting this resolved! The BIBO cold water temperature goes as low as 4 degrees which is as cold as your fridge - again if you don't think your BIBO is getting cold enough we would like to look at this for you!!

The machine started to leak hot water heavily after 11 months of use. To fix it, I ordered a descaling kit on March 3rd, they said it is arriving at the end of June. That's rather poor.

We signed up to the bibo service package and the first time we needed the filters sending we are told they don’t have them in stock. This is despite taking our £110 for the privilege. Ok we got an email telling us this. But it’s not the point and I acceptable to take our money then say we will send them when they come in. When is this ? We have had no clarity on this. Not great and bitterly disappointed.

Bibo machine is fine, but the process you have to go through to purchase filters is ridiculous. Ordering a filter requires setting up a direct debit - why?

Hi there, thanks for your feedback! There are two ways to purchase the filter packs. You can either be on our handy automatic delivery subscription service (which saves you 20%!) or you can purchase the filter packs by credit/debit card on an ad-hoc basis. The subscription service is an automatic payment each year to ensure you receive the maintenance consumables when you need them!

Love the water and Bibo, but had problems with the hot water tank cleaner. The filter has a cap which is supposed to be removed by an allan key, but the key doesn’t fit the hole properly. After trying for several minutes the cap just sheered off and I couldn’t get it open.

Delivery was very slow. It took 8 days after setting up a filter subscription to receiving the filters by courier.
