“Found BES by accident when searching the web for parts to repair a hot water /heating problem, I found their web site to well laid out and easy to use, as their prices also were very competitive I placed and order. the whole process was painless as was the subsequent service and delivery, everything was as described and required and no problems were encountered, I will use again if needed.”

Secondly when you rang we were literally about to call you advising that the mistake was sorted and that replacement goods would be with you next day on a free delivery. “Products were great but the delivery service was shocking. BES gets lets down by the delivery company it uses. Next day delivery became three days, worse still, i had to travel to the depot to collect the delivery, all because the delivery driver would not get out of his cab and knock on the front door. Someone was in all day !”

“No issue with BES but major issue with their carrier UPS. On a next day delivery they were 5 days late - ran out of time twice and a bank holiday weekend as well.”

“Nicely finished cast brass pipe supports. I will be using them to hold a rope handrail on some garden steps. Delighted to find these as I was expecting to have to make do with crudely cast steel. Delivery was fast.”

“They were the only source able to supply my need. I did not appreciate paying over £4 for partial delivery when post office to the door would have been about £2. I was charged for a heavy catalogue I did not ask for.”

At BES we pride ourselves on our wide range of over 15,000 products. However, we were disappointed not to achieve a 5 star rating as we pride ourselves on an excellent service. Please note that all catalogues are free, we do not charge. Also that it is company policy to deliver products by courier so we can maintain our 99.5% next day delivery service levels.
