“The product was excellent when it arrived and would have awarded 5 stars had it not been for the very poor service from the third party delivery service UPS. They claimed to have tried to deliver several times and said that nobody was available to take delivery or refused delivery. we have 24/7 security on site who had been tod to expect the delivery.... which never turned up! I had to rebook a delivery with UPS which arrived today after me complaining bitterly to them as I had been waiting for the parts to complete some development testing.”

“I ordered a submersible pump to empty an oil tank together with other components. All arrived on time but a part was missing from the pump assembly. I contacted BES to let them know, the person I spoke to was very helpful, he contacted their supplier who forwarded the missing part, which I received the next day. Not everything goes right every time, but it is how you deal with a problem and BES resolved the issue well. I would have no problem ordering from them again or recommending them to others. Apart from hitch would have been 5 stars”

“Ordered two 15mm x 3/8 right angled valves unfortunately one came missing the olive and nut. The 2nd disappointment was the valves were not as depicted on the website and although we're OK for my situation could have caused problems if room was tight with the valve operation. On the positive side, following a phone call the missing parts were dealt with in a efficient friendly manner and arrived am next day. The wrongly depicted valve on the website was addressed using the contact facility in the website. I received a reply the next day apologising for the discrepancy and saying the information was being updated and was due to a change of supplier. On the whole, apart from the delay caused, I was happy with the way things were handled and would use the BES again.”

“Product is just what a needed but delivery was poor , not delivered to my address even thou I was asked about drop of point if nobody was in that was ignored , no notification of attempted delivery , it was delivered to a newsagents far from my house and only way I found out where it was was by tracking system , absolutely no attempt was made to deliver to house very poor”

“Brilliant product at a good price and delivery was prompt. Slight problem in that my name was not on the outside of the package causing minor delay in me getting the parcel. Not a problem but something I will ask for in my delivery instruction on my next order!”

“Great service at warehouse and competitively priced. A confirmation email to say it is ready to pick up would be an improvement. I know it says available within an hour of ordering on all products, but better to be safe than sorry. Will use again.”

“Excellent service. Description of some items could be made more user-friendly for DIY, e.g. fact that compression pipe repair coupling has a smooth internal bore which allows it to be slid up & down pipework, thus facilitating replacement of stop cocks where fixed pipework requires pipe to be cut to remove old fitting. Stumbled on item purely by chance”

“It took 5 days to argyll not 2-3 days and tracking was confusing but it arrived well packed and staff were exceptional in taking responsibility and chasing the order till it was delivered.”
