I would like to ask BES persons to contact and make some decision. Unfortunately, upon their mistake, I had to send order back. We all make mistakes, but, it's sad that there is noone to solve them :( And BES offers to deliver worldwide, but with very bad support :(

We have an account with BES and placed 1 order with them which I paid on the company credit card. Later on in the day I placed a second order for a gas solenoid valve on our account. I received a email stating the solenoid would arrive today this was at 17:20. Our accounts department received an email at 19:57 informing us that we were over our agreed credit limit and the order had been placed on hold. After speaking to BES accounts they agreed we were not over our credit limit and the "system" did not register that we had paid in full for the 1st order. We needed the part urgent and the repair had to take place today. Accounts transferred me to sales, who the told me that the order had now been processed but would not offer a delivery today or a guaranteed delivery early tomorrow. They told me the order had been processed and their was nothing they could do about it!!! Accounts did acknowledge their was a fault with their system but they could not do anything to help and the sales person was very unhelpful!!! This situation must be rectified, it cannot be the first time this has happened, but the attitude of the sales staff was as useful as a chocolate fire guard!!! I have managed to source the part from other merchant, so I will cancel this order. We have previously used this company and have had great service, I hope they sort this glitch out!! I was Advised on a date for an order that i was desperate for, obviously paid for it, and then found out by ringing them up that the deliver date was a week later, had i have not rang no one would of informed me. Terrible communication - wont be using them again.

Diabolical service DPD couldnt deliver yet 20 other companies find a way by leaving parcel in a safe place or neighbour.Got card saying i had a week to collect from local parcel shop ,i went the next day and DPD for some reason that day had collected it and returned it to their depot Rang BES lady seemed clueless and said when parcel got back to them they would refund,a week later i get a call from BES saying parcel had been redilivered to same parcel shop and hard to believe had been recollected and returned to their depoti am told i will get refund when they get the parcel back all of £23 worth they are dire i will not be using them again.

Website is terrible, very slow and erratic. To order a dozen items took over an hour, totally unacceptable. It has never been a great website but seems to have got progressively worse over time. Because of this I only go to BES if I cant find the products I am looking for elsewhere.

Refused a refund. As the email states, as soon as they receive the item, they will refund. But I called them today. They said that they received it but sent for manufacturer for assessment. Complete misguided and cowboys.

The company and catalogue are great, easy to deal with accurate and fast. HOWEVER the website which always was a duplicate of the great catalogue, is now USELESS and UNUSABLE. I have dealt with BES for very many years as an account holder and have given up with the website. I have complained many times but to no avail. Disapointed.

DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE THEY ARE SCAMMERS, I PURCHASED AN ITEM FOR NEXT DAY DELIVERY AND 10 DAYS LATER I HAVENT RECEIVED IT WITH NO TRACKING UPDATES.

Very poor service from start to finish. Deliver delayed, collection delayed, unanswered emails. Still waiting on a refund some 3 weeks after the item was returned.

Recently wrote a one star review regarding the ‘free gift’ of an infrared thermometer. Thanks for your reply noting that the model number was there to see. Very helpful. Now can you tell me, as a heating engineer, what use this thermometer with is with a range of 32c to 42c other than to check the potential well being of a customer I’ve just invoiced!

Ordered and received a Kane voltage/continuity tester. Came with a free gift of an infrared thermometer. Great, as as a heating engineer, it would replace my old one. Not if it’s a covid forehead thermometer with a range of 32c to 42c. You are advertising this as a ‘top pick’ to whom? A doctors surgery of pharmacy. Still have to get one, but not from bes!!

Order should have been 3-7 days now gone up to 10-14 days resulting in a massive convenience moving jobs and resulting in jobs lost! Product also went down 19% just after I ordered. Customer service was no help at all. I have issued my contact details and comments so I expect this to be resolved somehow.

I ordered from dozens of websites over the past 4 weeks... this site has proved to be the most frustrating and poorly performing I've EVER come across. Knew what I wanted. Opened a new account. Good Then I tried to add items to my cart. No can do. After about 15 minutes I've got six meters in the basket (I want one) & 10 washers (I want three). Another 10 minutes. Logged in & out many times. Yes... At last correct quantities in the cart.. nearly there. NO Could I get to the checkout. No way. Absolutely pitiful. Your software does not work! Did you get your boy put the site together?... you must be losing business hand over fist. So frustrating. You just wasted 35 minutes of my life that I will never get back. Shameful

Poor experience and will not use again. Ordered a hot water cylinder on 2nd January for an elderly customer who had no hot water due to existing cylinder being split. Paid for next day delivery before 12, fast forward 2 days and still no sign of my order. Organised joiner and plumbers to do work over the last 2 days but still unable to proceed due to delays. Customer remains without hot water and no longer wishes to do business with us. Joiner and plumbers chasing payment for their lost time. Really not happy about this - you work hard as a new company to build a reputation locally, and something like this really affects what we do in the industry. Customers don't care about whether it was the merchants or couriers fault, it's us small companies that get affected the most - really no acceptable!! Will not use again!

After a thorough investigation we have established that the courier driver decided to return your order to his hub on consecutive days claiming incorrect address! (which we know is not true) This behaviour is out of our control and thankfully extremely rare. The courier company have been notified. Terrible service. It took tens of chasing phone calls / emails and TWO weeks to get my next day order. Ended up delaying the whole project. They then went on to randomly make debit card transactions with my details after my order was completed! Absolute scammers. Avoid.

This will help us as we take great pride in our excellent customer service. It does seem your order (£4.06+VAT & delivery) was ordered on 4th December but was delayed slightly for which we apologise. Thankfully instances like this are very rare as we successfully despatch thousands of products every day for next day delivery. In response to your 1star review 1. We are not scammers, we have been successful for over 45 years 2.We have no record of "tens of chasing phone calls/emails" for your £4 order. We note you called on 11th December and spoke to one of the team. 3.We do NOT make random debit card transactions. Your payment was an online purchase that you made for £10.81 all inclusive. 4.Your order was delayed slightly but not by two weeks as you claim. Your order was placed on the 4th December and your review was posted on 12th December. We hope you will provide your details for our customer services team so that if necessary we can resolve any further issues. Of course they will refund or replace the product if you are not happy with your purchase. Apologies. BES

Delivery was quick, but the contents, in this case a 20kg tub of heatproof plaster was smashed, the lid was broken all around the rim, there was a hole in the top and the plaster was all over the inside of the box, the box however was undamaged which suggests to me it was thrown in like that, how long it had been open in the warehouse is anyones guess. No reply to email using the website customer service form despite including 5 photo's of the mess together with the undamaged box.

Placed order for collection from BES collection point. Website stated order ready in 30 minutes. Arrived 2 hours later to collect and order not ready or shown as processed despite me having order confirmation number and payment taken from account. Assistant in sorting this was very poor. Nobody prepared to resolved the situation whilst I’m stood waiting at counter losing money as I should be on jobs.
