“Brought a new door for our gas meter. It arrived next day and fits perfectly! The website was very well laid out and I particularly found the customer Q&A helpful when deciding what door I needed. I also found the accurate pictures and measurements helpful in sourcing the right door. Well done B.E.S.”

“I have been very happy with the service up till now. However, on the last order I had four items and on line I was told the immersion heater was not in stock. I phoned and was told stock had just come in and if I ordered it would all be shipped that afternoon. When the order came, the Surrey Flange I ordered had not been sent as it was not it stock and would be sent on later. I waited a week for this item to come. Could job I had not stripped the old tank out. Having said all that, generally the service is very good.”

“As always BES service is superlative even for the smallest items which in my case were 3 stainless steel jubilee clips. But I think the planet might have been better served if instead of packing them in a cardboard box 15 x 10 x 10 cms with balloon sleeving and polystyrene wrapping, they would have survived the journey from Birmingham to Leicester equally well in a padded envelope - the padding serving to protect post office workers from jagged edges and not damage to the items themselves. You would have to be very determined to damage 3 jubilee clips!! I will continue to use BES as I think the speed of their service is marvellous, but I do worry about the planet!”
