“Not great customer service ...
I purchased a Weber Slate from BBQWorld on the 23rd April.
On unpacking it was clear that Weber had shipped two side panels the same which prevented me from building it.
On raising the issue with BBQWorld I was told they had passed this on to Weber and Weber will resolve in 5-10 days.
I would have thought BBQWorld would have resolved my issue quickly and dispatched either a new BBQ (from their stock) or the a new part (from their stock) and they then resolved the issue with Weber.
Even though it's a brand new product BBQWorld have no interest at all in trying to expedite the matter for me.
I am now chasing Weber to try and resolve it quicker than the 5-10 days.
Is this normal for a brand new product which was delivered with missing / incorrect parts?
Not great from BBQWorld or Weber. I guess given it's price (£1K) I expected a little more.

“Very pleased with this Everdure BBQ. My neighbour assembled it for me and didn’t encounter any problems but was left with extra bits so hoping they are spares ? and he hasn’t left anything out! It appears very sturdy and well built and was a good price. Pleased with delivery service too”

“Jury is still out I’m afraid. Our BBQ arrived about a week after ordering. Unfortunately quite a lot of the frame had been damaged in transit and one of the cast iron grill grates was cracked. Customer service advised me to keep the bbq and use it until replacement parts could be sent sent. I would have hoped they would have just opened another bbq checked it was in good condition and exchanged it. Still waiting to hear back as to when the parts will be sent out. Not brilliant for a £850 BBQ”
“Emails didnt state what the staff told me on the phone, so caused confusion and late delivery. Staff were unhelpful, rude and felt like I was putting them out by asking for their help, caused me major stress and upset, and money as I was hiring a van to transport it to my second home.”
