“We collected 4 chairs from the Hove store. The experience was very good; professional and courteous staff on the day, and we are very pleased with the chairs, which were ordered online. Having visited the Hove store previously, we were told that we couldn't collect from the store and would have to go to Crawley, which we were not prepared to do. We then ordered online, and were able to collect from the Hove store! % stars would have been awarded if we had been told this when visiting the store”

“On ordering my item the level of customer was excellent -all answers provided quickly and efficiently. When I picked my item up from the Eggborough warehouse, the staff could not have been more helpful and friendly. I am delighted with my drinks cabinet, it looks even better than described. I will certainly be going back to Barker and Stonehouse in the future.”

“I find the staff in store very helpful and knowledgeable and the website easy to manage. Good updates on delivery timescales etc Slight issue with wrong colour feet / missing cushion on recent delivery that delivery staff flagged but customer service has not followed up - still dealing with this.”

“The only reason I could not give 5*s is that we had to return our tv table as it had dents in it, and send it back for a replacement. That being said, the process was very smooth and easy and I felt respected. The staff were very helpful and we sorted the replacement very quickly. The team removed the old tv table at the same time as delivering the new. We even got a phone call afterwards asking our our replacement was. Great service.”

“I have made an online purchase so have only ever dealt with the staff via the phone however they are always polite, helpful and professional. I have only given 4 stars because I?ve had a few issues with my order as there?s been lack of communication between their departments. Their system for ?long range delivery? as they call it needs to change as it?s issued randomly and when I rang to change the date to one that suits me was when my issues started, however the staff are always great and quick to get things sorted.”

“Reasonable price and quality is really very good. Unfortunately the furniture did take 4 months to deliver due to covid but we were kept well informed! The furniture was purchased as ?fully assembled? however it came in 3 boxes with around 15 pieces - not a problem for us but may not be as easy for others! All round, great! Would highly recommend”

“Bought the Medway bed which I love. Kept up to date with the progress and delivery date and delivered well packaged. Very sturdy and it looks great in the bedroom. The only thing that lets it down is the quality of the paint work. Appears to only have one coat and is very easy to mark. As a result a chip in the paint work has appeared on the corner of the foot end already which we will have to repair and we have only had the bed 3 weeks. Would have given 5 stars if it wasn?t for the paint work.”
