You mis-sold a bottle of whisky on your website. I bought a distillers edition Lagavulin based on the picture and description. This is not what I received, instead I received a 16 year old whisky. I expect to receive what I order. If you are going to substitute a purchase you could have asked. I really like approved food but this has made me question your service. I would like my money back on this order. Please get in touch on

Sorry to say but most of the food was out of date plus I was charged double and they still haven't got back go me

Shocking service. placed 2 x orders, selected to pick them up myself but they are only open office hours so I cannot actually get to pick them up when they are open. I have left several voicemail messages and had one returned call. I was promised an e-mail would be sent to make alternative delivery arrangements. I am still waiting for the e-mail and have left more voicemails and still waiting for call backs! it is over a week now and I am still waiting for my orders!!!

I was charged 3 times when i only wanted one order, i didnt know when the order was being delivered and when it did arrive it was not packed well and there was empty sweet packets in the box aswell as somethings had spilt and the box etc was wet. To be honest i am not sure i will order from you again.

Sadly the box is damaged and re taped up. On opening the box there is dried mud, lots of it! And many boxes look water damaged. Very poor. I have emailed and called approved food and await a response. I'd like to add that I have ordered before and never had a problem.

Delivery was long but probably due to bank holiday. It took 7 days. I had no notification that it would be delivered today so I didn't stay home and had to make an extra trip out with the kids to the post office. Love the prices but a bit inconvenient.

Good morning Miss Turnt, I can see that your order was dispatched from us on Wednesday 12th April, due to the Easter bank holiday weekend your order is out for delivery today with an ETA of 15:05-16:05. I put my favourite perfume into my basket along with biscuits I was looking forward to receiving. For some reason, the perfume disappeared from the basket and the biscuits were several days out of date. Poor service. I will not be ordering again.

Best before dates for each product are displayed on the product page. Ordered over a week ago and still awaiting delivery. Have emailed and left a voicemail message (as you don't speak to a human) and have had no reply. I didn't receive goods at all this time last year but thought I'd have another go and give approved food a chance. Seems the joke is on me.

Ordered & paid for an item "ex stock". After a week, I was informed there was no stock and I had been given credit, not refunded. I now have a refund but during the delay, the price elsewhere has risen by £7. I won't be using this company again.

Ordered 1 item.....took 3 days to pick, 2 days to pack and send.... all in all 6 days from order to delivery. Far too long. A ridiculous amount of packing, please see image... 3 x large boxes for an item 4inches high...total madness and for this I was charged £5.99. A D1 size mailite bubble bag would have been sufficient and would have cost £2.80 via Royal Mail 2nd class small parcel.

8 days later and my Order still says,Order being picked,to say I am not happy is an understatement, writing to see if my email gets answered Very disapointed I just hope they still have all the item I ordered,if not!!!! Update Parcels arrived today,they forgot to update my Order, a Couple of items damaged but all in all ok..t hey were on a long journey,Im sure the damaged items will be given in Credit for my next Order..

We show the best before date for each product on the product page. If you would prefer to only view products that are within this date there is a filter on the left hand side that filters to 'in date products' only. I hope this helps and you will order again soon.
