“Some items can be more expensive than supermarkets but still some good bargains can be found. However they are let down badly by terrible customer service. My last order was dropped and damaged by the shippers, which is a nuisance but not their fault. However their customer service took 5 days to reply and only said they couldn't see the photos I'd added to the ticket (despite them showing up in their reply to me). They took many replies and many days to resolve the problem whilst each reply announced at the top that my problem was "solved". They falsely claimed they couldn't see people's replies unless they mark all tickets as solved. When I tweeted them twice to prompt a response to my ticket there was no reply. Have added the photo (that they said they couldn't see) of the broken drink carton, leaking olive jar and mess. They say the service is slow due to volume of emails but actually the customer service is simply inept, untrained or working against the business.”

“I am a regular user of 'Approved Food'. I have always been satisfied with the quaklity of the products. It is excellent value for mi=oney. The site is easy to navigate and the ordering process straightforward. I like receiving the emails with the latest offers. I will continue to use 'Approved Food'.”

“Approved food, I cannot fault them, they delivered everything that I ordered. My problem is the delivery, that was a problem, I received an email to say that delivery would be made at a time on the day. I was not going to be at home, therefore I had a choice to change the day of delivery, which I did. I have a ring doorbell and I noted that the delivery was being left by the back gate, this is not acceptable, as the delivery could have been stolen and not acceptable. I spoke to the driver via ring and asked for it to be delivered the next day as per instructions. I was told that the delivery had been logged as delivered, which again is unacceptable. I managed to get him to leave it with a neighbour. There should be an option of delivery dates at the time of order rather than just be left to the logistic company. The logistics company should not offer alternatives if they cannot follow those instructions.”

“Disappointing ladies lucky box. Not sure which is worse, the coal tar hand soap or the 3 bottles of stop n grow, 2 identical conditioners for dry damanaged hair. I didn't feel very lucky opening it.”

“soft drinks are good value but don't buy, crisps,snack bars or nuts they are usually soft and packets of crisps crushed and open. This company use to be much better value maybe they have now got too big?”

“Overall the food was good and in date .I know that some of it is out of date but some of the stuff from the lucky box was about 2 years out of date and did not taste very pleasant.”

“Have bought a fair few times . Never been anything other than extremely satisfied , with everything I have bought. Everything is so well packed , & your delivery Derek , is a joy. Always polite& happy . I have Alzheimer’s so it’s so nice to see a friendly face .,”

“Such a brilliant way to help with the food waste problem. I've had some great deals with the Lucky Box, ok the dates are short but on items that don't always need them. Approved food is delivered swiftly and extremely well packed in boxes. Have been telling friends about my bargain shops since my first box arrived.”

“I love this site!!! There are big brands on her that have have products i didn't know they did and it's great!!! The only process I didn't like was receiving an email from the delivery service saying i got a delivery due from Morris & Son Leeds. I looked it up and on the website it said about scammers. I thought that it was just a email that wanted me to fall for it. The next day i got my parcel. So don't think theres a scam it's from this site and it was packaged very well!!! Can't wait to shop here again!!!”
