Great value for money and lots of good items. The two things they could improve on is the minimum spend for free delivery and their website as it is very difficult to navigate and not user friendly at all!

Usually very good. However, for my most recent order, I couldn’t follow it online as seemed to disappear into a black hole. The order did arrive eventually, but was poorly packaged with no dispatch note. Therefore, no way of checking if my order was filled correctly. Hope this isn’t an ongoing situation

First the good news, I placed two orders and received them ok. Communications were good, the items were good. Now the not so good news, the carrier was shambolic. Initially good communications, but both deliveries missed the two hour time slot. Both arrived late and one was the next day. Ok, the deliveries arrived eventually, but I would not use DX delivery service if I had a choice. The first box was inadequately packed and arrived damaged, with the contents nearly spilling out. The second box was very well packed and arrived intact.

Everything was great just wish the specials had a higher limit that 1 per customer, even 2 would be good. Will be ordering from you more often. Super fast delivery too. Very happy.

For the first time since Approved Food began I was disappointed with my order. This order was originally placed initially to take advantage of the price for Tassimo coffee but this unfortunately was crossed off apart from an eight pack of Latte. The lucky dip was made up with items which I will never use. The only 'bargain' was the drink lucky dip pack. I like to think that my savings at least equate to the cost of the carriage, but alas on this occasion I doubt whether this was so.

Dissatisfied with my order on Friday as bottled water was smashed and shreds of glass pieces pierced tins of Canada Dry also everything soaked Now this was my second order from you I was very happy with first one that’s why I ordered again. Now I believe this happened in transit as delivery driver told me the box was wet when he put it on my doorstep. Everything was covered in glass when unpacking items. Just needed to tell you, I also wrote on Twitter as well to let you know.

Coffee pods don't fit my machine. Items like pickle I can't eat. Bottle of cider broken and leaked inside packaging. Disappointed.

Ordering was easy, delivery was quick but the bag of flour I'd ordered was split and the jar of gherkins had been packed on its side and had leaked.

Some of the food although out of date, tasted fine. However the chocolate had to be binned as it tasted terrible, it had a May 2021 date. Lucky Box, although an absolute bargain at a £1, had little in it, I would buy. Tbh, I wouldn't use again. The courier was very pleasant and did carry the box upstairs.

The Starbucks coffee pods tasted fine and were good value for money. I would buy again but your £9.00 delivery charge to my part of Scotland is likely to deter me from purchasing most of what you can offer. Many of your competitors manage to deliver similar small, light parcels to the whole of the UK mainland free or without a surcharge. Come on Approved Foods - sharpen your pencil.

We do work hard to try and make sure that these costs are as low as possible, but these are in line with what we are charged by the courier for different areas meaning that we aren't always able to provide a cheaper rate. Communications were not ideal. Some of the links to my account did not work. Two items within my order arrived damaged. When I did make contact, to try to find out when my order might arrive, my enquiry was dealt with quickly & professionally.

Courier company DX are terrible. Rearranged delivery and they still attempted to deliver on the day I didn't want. They then left my parcel on my doorstep for well over 12 hours which I don't think is acceptable considering I sued the correct methods. Items have been missing from my orders. Food beyond perishable that should never have been sold. Alot of items are not actually much cheaper if you do your research.

You blow hot and cold. Sometimes brilliant sometimes NOT. Please please please learn to pack properly. 5 layers of cardboard held together with packing tape necessitates the use of a Stanley knife to get into a box holding crisps. WHY? I have to unpack and then dispose of what feels like half a ton of cardboard. GET REAL

Approved Food can be a fun way of buying reduced foodstuff that's close to its use-by date. But watch out for items that have expired longer than a month or so ago. You will notice an impairment to the flavour. This year, they have not been doing so well on fulfilling a whole order. It can be irritating when the order arrives and several things are missing.
