“I have no major problem with Approved foods, i have saved pounds on foods that are close to or past their best before, & are still absolutly fine for ages after, but the delivery agents are horendous, i have yet to have 1 single delivery to be perfect, i have had damaged boxes, repacked boxes, 1 box out of 2 one day & another 3 days later, & even 1 go missing completely then some of it turn up 2 moths later, am i just the unlucky 1 here, or are the self employed delivery drivers under to much burden to earn to little money the big delivery companys leave them after their massive commisions, having been in the logistics bussiness running my own for over 35 yrs, i think i know what i am talking about.”

“I suspect that Approved Food are suffering the effects of all the "Food Banks" that have sprung up over the last two years, - I get the impression that there is less short-dated food available for them, and so they have substantially increased their range of alcohols, (including some rather specialist brews!) and have dramativcally increased the ranges of (I'll be kind) 'ancillary stuff'!. I've also noticed that one of the high street "cheap frozen food' retailers is frequently cheaper on identical items than Approved Food. Full Marks to Dan and the team for fighting on, but they're finding it increasing difficult to be as competitive as they were.”

“The ordering process is very straight forward. The range and quality of goods is very good however the items were not well packed and several items arrived damaged. More care needs to be taken in the packaging of goods.”

“Up until recently no problems. Recent order didnt arrive and between approved foods and dpd delivery, it took nearly a week to get a reply. Eventually getting a refund”

“Excellent concept and really great to reduce food waste. I have had several deliveries damaged in transit though. Customer service is always prompt and helpful!”

“I order from France on a regular basis and I am happy with the produce.However I have had numerous orders arriving badly packed e.g. heavy items on top of biscuits andcrisps squashing and breaking them. The boxes are not securely taped up with one piece of tape across the join often not covering the gap. The boxes usually arrive open and damaged.I now avoid ordering any glass bottles or jars as they often arrive broken. I hope this doesn't sound too negative. If the packing problem could be sorted out I would rate the service very good.”

“I support a homeless charity so i use Approved Foods as you have a great and random assortment. My only criticism is the time it takes on delivery. I usually need the stock pretty fast. I placed my order last Weds, paid extra for a quicker delivery and now its monday and still not here.”

“Delivery isn't the quickest. Ordered last Tuesday evening, it's now Monday and I've not received it yet. Wouldn't have shopped there without a free delivery code as the cost of regular delivery negates any savings you make. You can buy some of the items cheaper in the supermarket (on offer) and they wouldn't be out of date. Having said that, the items they sell are perfectly good and I've never had any issues with things I've bought previously.”

“Good prices but when adding delivery it mounts bit. My last order I was misled by the wrong "best before" date for baby milk which said June 2018 on your website but those were delivered have all the date of Feb 2018! If I knew I woul have bought only one and not 3 tubs. Disappointing! Mr Mehenni”
