Unfortunately, these flowers lasted only 3 days before shedding their bloom and colour. My wife was disappointed.

I ordered flowers for my girlfriends birthday the bouquet cost £49.99. The flowers were dying after 3 days she is now left with 2 stalks of lillies. Would not recommend using apple yard flowers highly overpriced and bouquet half the size expected. Would like someone to contact me Texas some kind of reimbursement. Flowers bought every week from sainsbury last up to 3 weeks not 3 days.

Dreadful. Roses were dead within 2 days. And green follage was dropping as soon as it arrived. Sent an email explaining all of this and had a reply asking for a photo. I understand you need proof but I am extremely busy and there is a great deal of choice when ordering flowers. There has been no follow up. I won't be using the company again or recommending .

The white case that I ordered with the bouquet was basically just a white jug (cost me £15). The bouquet was almost half the size of what it looked in the display picture. I'm never ordering from here ever again. And I would really like my £15 to be refunded!

Flowers ordered on a Tuesday, in time for guaranteed next day delivery, were eventually delivered on the Friday, wilted and sad. The only plus was the Complaints Department dealt very quickly with a refund and a voucher - they have clearly had a lot of practice.

I ordered the flowers and left instructions for them to be left at the persons door. Instead a missed delivery card was left and the item delivered approx 10 days LATE - arrived mostly dead. Fail. Never to order again.

Sent flowers to a lady at work to congratulate her on her promotion. They never got to her - no idea who they were delivered to. My PA chased, and not much info could be found. Appleyard apologised and said they would re send - with chocolates. Bit worried about the chocolates, this lady at work may think it is a bit over the top. Got a note saying they have been re delivered, haven't heard from the lady - which is odd as I spoke to her about the last lot - all very embarrassing. I am now far too embarrassed to ask her again if she has received them - and I have no confidence they have been delivered to the lady herself - So all in all - wish I had never sent flowers

This was not a good experience at all I'm afraid. It is only the second time I have used you. I work for American Express order a lot of flowers on a corporate basis and had ordered some for a colleague who was leaving to go on Maternity Leave. I got an email at 1pm to say the flowers had been delivered. I checked with the mailroom (where flowers are automatically sent), security etc and no flowers had been received. The operator I spoke to asked if I was 'sure' and asked me to check with them again which I found unhelpful. He told me it was showing on your systems as having been delivered and all he could do was raise a request with the Royal Mail which could take up to 2 days to resolve. The flowers did arrive, at 3.30pm, over 2 hours after they had been marked as delivered. I was also not particularly happy with the flowers themselves. I ordered a Vintage Rose and Lily Bouquet - the large size. Although I appreciate the lilies were not open, the bouquet itself had been squeezed into a tall thin box, not at all appropriate for a bouquet, more I would have thought, for a delivery of long-stemmed roses. The bouquet was pulled out with difficulty and some roses got damaged. The Bouquet was squashed, and frankly looked awful. I was so disappointed and very embarrassed when it came to the presentation. I'm sorry this wasn't a better review but it really was a dreadful experience and I am not at all sure I would want to use you again and take the risk.

Not sure how the order selection of 'leave on doorstep' translates to Postman take the flowers back to the sorting office and leave a calling card. The flowers ordered were sympathy flowers for a dear friend who incidentally wasn't in and had to lay her father to rest so between a funeral to arrange and the Easter holidays the flowers were well and truly past it once collected a couple of days later. Thanks Appleyard and your service provider Royal Mail. You'll not see another order from me.

Absolute rubbish, sent these flowers for my daughter on the birth of our first grandson. Spent £60 on flowers that were not the flowers specified and shown online, cheap alternatives used and they all died within 5days. You would be better off spending half the money and use M+S or similar. Shame on your company !!!!!!!!

The flowers were of a very low standard. I had high hopes, as I had previously been given flowers by Appleyard as a gift and was confident they would be of the same standard when I made the delivery to my sister, who was very ill in hospital. This was't the case. When I visited her in hospital the flowers were already very damaged and not what I had hoped or expected, based on my previous experience. Not impressed and I unfortunately don't think I'll be using Appleyard again. Such a shame.

I sent flowers and champagne to an elderly relative for her birthday. She has not been in touch to say she has received my gift, which was sent two weeks ago. Hence, I have no idea what she thought of your flowers and champagne. The delivery notification to me merely stated that the flowers and champagne had been delivered on the appropriate day "without signature". Under the circumstances, it is not possible for me to write any kind of review.

I ordered flowers for my mother in law after the death of her mum, I order the chic version costing a little more. When they arrived I received a photo saying thank you. I could believe my eyes there must have been 8 flowers. I complained and to be fair they offered to resend immediately however this was days before the funeral and she wasn't going to home. So I asked for a Saturday delivery, Saturday came and went and I followed the tracking info which stated the Royal Mail received them 6am on Saturday these where not delievered until today around 2pm! Well as you can imagine 2 days in transit and they are wilted and limp! What an absolute rip off!!! Will never use again!

My flowers never arrived... And when I emailed stating this I got an automatic reply telling me to check the recipient. Which seems extremely obvious and patronising.... Followed by something about Mother's Day, even though that was a month before. I doubt very much I will use this service again... Very disappointing.

Ordered flowers for Mother's Day to arrive on a specific day before as Mum was going away, flowers did not turn up. Upon calling customer services the next day I was repeatedly informed the flowers would be delivered that day & if there was no one in a card would be left so redelivery or collection could be arranged. This was despite me repeatedly explaining there would be no one there for 2 weeks. Eventually I was offered a store credit to replace the flowers when my Mother returned. I then ordered the replacement bunch 2 weeks later again to be delivered on a specific day, again they were delivered a day late. Used this company in place of my usual very reliable company on recommendation from a friend. Although the flowers were beautiful & lasted a long time this has turned out to be a decision I deeply regret & I will never use this company again
