Ordered a table centre for the Christmas table. Item marked as despatched on the 19th for delivery on the 20th December. Finally arrived on 24th December by which time one of the roses was broken and the other brown. We now have nothing to put on the Christmas table. Very disappointing. I would expect better given the cost of delivery. Able to complete online 100% happiness form easily but only provides store credit when I want a refund as do not plan to purchase again from Appleyard.

I received one of your bouquets as a kind Christmas present from my sister. It is very pretty. But the price is exaggerated for 3 stems of hydrangea, 8 roses, some stems of a common shrub and a few sprays of gold-sprayed eucalyptus. However, what bothers me most is that the roses are clearly from Kenya, as stated on your website. Why is it necessary to fly roses halfway across the planet? I have lived in southern Spain for years where numerous natural products are grown under plastic. What is the problem with cultivating flowers under glass/plastic in Europe or even better, in the UK? Or indeed, offering homegrown flowers, which is better for the planet and better for our national economy. Thank you.

Flowers were beautiful but by 3rd day started to droop. AppleCare got back to me and sent a replacement bouquet to my mum which was much bigger. The flowers were much fresher and so far are still going strong. Thank you for sending the additional bouquet, it is much appreciated and very thoughtful. Great service.

Not happy with my flowers this year. Always buy from Appleyard at Christmas. One rose has dropped after 12 hours, had to remove dead yellow leaves from lilies to improve and most foliage mouldy and beyond attractive. I don't think the flowers will survive the weekend. Only delivered last night!

Flowers were well received by my wife ... and that's the important part. Only downside was that Yodel delivered a day late (not really acceptable for any perishable shipment). JW.
