“my first order died within a couple of days, but Appleyard were very apologetic and sent a lovely new bouquet out immediately which was brilliant service.”

“My mum was very happy with her flowers, small issue that I ordered 'letterbox flowers' specifically so they would be delivered even if she wasn't in - but actually the box was too big to fit through her letterbox, but luckily a neighbour took them in for her.”

“Ordered a sympathy bouquet of white flowers for a work colleague, ordered late on Friday and they were delivered on Saturday for no extra cost, was kept informed by text and email of the 1 hour timeslot and had a call to say they had been delivered safely, recipient was really pleased with the flowers the quantity and variety of flowers, it cost £80 so expectations were high, this is exceptional service and will use Appleyard again for future purchases of flowers.”

“These flowers were ordered as a gift and I have not personally seen them but the recipient was delighted with them and commented that there were an abundance of roses and lillies, all well packed and the majority of the flowers survived for 2 weeks, with a few now rsmaining. The chocolates were also delicious.”

“Flower arrived on time and well wrapped. Only little niggle is I have ordered 4-5 times and the roses are always in bud and don't come properly out until all the others have died. But I would still recommend”

“Had an orchid plant delivered to my boyfriend on the day of our anniversary, got really worried when I realised DPD would be the company delivering it as had several issues with them in the past (never leave parcel to a neighbour or in a safe place even when you specifically ask and closest collection point is one hour drive so you have no choice but to be home), panicked when they sent a text saying delivery would be between 12 and 1pm when I knew my boyfriend wouldn't be home until 2:30, so called Appleyard and said that I had asked in "delivery instructions" to leave on doorstep and asked whether DPD would actually do it (seeing my previous experiences with them). Woman on the phone assured me she would contact DPD to insist on this point. Turns out my boyfriend got home and saw a parcel by his door but thought it was for the neighbour! But it was definitely there waiting for him, so in the end really pleased with how things turned out! And my boyfriend loves his orchid :)”

“The flowers were amazing and well received by the colleague they were sent to. However I had to deal with a very rude delivery driver, I had to negotiate with for him to actually order the flowers! He demanded to know the door number (which I thought was on the address) when I said I would call the recipient to check and call him straight back he said he didn't have time for that and said he would have to get to his next job. I had to talk him into being patient and cooperate with me to actually deliver the flowers. Not what I expected to be having to do on a Saturday morning whilst out with my family. Quite a stressful experience as I thought he wouldn't deliver them and in calling my colleague I had to ruin the surprise. As I say - a stunning bouquet but the whole experience was let down by the tone and aggressive nature of the delivery driver.”
