I wouldn’t even give this service a single star. My experience with Anyvan was dreadful. We were charged £100 for a parking fine, even though the fine notice clearly stated that it would be between £50-65 if paid within 14 days. I contacted their customer support multiple times, but each time they gave me different excuses. To make matters worse, the driver left behind several items, claiming they were the wrong size. We had to book another van for £200 to transport the leftover items. The sales team is truly disappointing—they make false promises when booking, claiming that parking surveys will be conducted and that the location will be checked, but none of that happened. The van was small and filthy. I strongly advise everyone to avoid Anyvan. It’s a complete scam designed to extract money from you. Such a frustrating and disappointing experience

This company make the mistake of outsourcing their moves to local companies who are not only unprofessional, ill-equipped and incapable of executing on behalf of AnyVan's serviced commitment. Not only does AnyVan refuse any sort of responsibility or attempt to rectify or support your move once these external companies get involved they will bounce you around different call center people, and ignore the very real threat on the ground from aggressive and unhappy contractors. Even after providing two video surveys and planning for extra items in the case, being fully transparent with every aspect of the move, the driver accused us of lying about the items for moving, refused to take items, and didn't accept clear evidence this was not the case. He continued to tell us what and how things would go above and outside our anyvan contract/commitment and over four hours proceeded to confront, nitpick, and aggressively speak to us like we had booked the service with him. After expressly telling AnyVan to communicate that this man should stop speaking to us and communicate his frustrations with them, they did nothing to allay the verbal attacks in our driveway, during loading, and at the end of what should have been a straightforward move. When we finally had everything out, and the driver had left I requested a complaints contact from Sandy, so I could escalate the issue to a team specifically able to deal with this experience she refused to give it to me, she also insinuated because my husband didn't specify the complaints in her cryptic request for information we are no longer allowed to complain or escalate the issue to a resolution team. We felt unsafe, untrusting, and like we were being accused of being deceitful. For a move that cost us over £1000 the way in which we were spoken to and dismissed was nothing short of disgusting. Do not work with AnyVan, they have no way to resolve issues, they do not vet and train their external contracted movers and they trick you into believing the service you get during sign up is what you can expect for the duration of their offering.

10 minutes ago New Terrible on-the-day & post-move service from AnyVan. The removal team did not seem to have any experience moving as it took over 6 hours to empty a lightly furnished 2bed flat & they smashed my dining room table & a lot of my furniture was scratched and dented when it arrived at my new home. My family helped empty the van on arrival as they were taking so long we didn’t want them still unpacking at midnight! I was really surprised by the poor service after reading lots of positive reviews and their 5* marketing claims. When complaining to AnyVan’s customer service team I was offered £20 credit as compensation (less than 2% of cost & credit which I wouldn’t use as won’t be moving again & wouldn’t use AnyVan anyway!) and was promised a call back within 24hours by a supervisor. When I phoned again having not received the callback I was told my request for a call had been rejected & I won’t be able to discuss my complaint further. I’m not one to normally bother writing bad reviews, but the service from AnyVan was truely so terrible I would recommend just hiring a local van team yourself for so much cheaper as that’s affectively what AnyVan is but with a massive mark up - don’t waste your money!

Excellent service from initial phone request to delivery. This was a very short notice job. Phoned my request through on Thursday late a.m and my item delivered by Friday.Communication excellent by text and tracking service to see progress of my item. Picked up in time window and delivered on time too. 2 man job and both very polite. My item was delivered in perfect order. Thankyou ANYVAN. I will definitely use your service again

I was looking forward to using AnyVan as their response time was so quick to deliver a sofa to our house. However after trying to cancel the booking after realising the sofa was too wide for our living room, I was told that there was no refund as the van operators were currently preparing to move my sofa....in two days time....The word "currently" is used as an excuse to keep my money. This is completely unacceptable behaviour from any company that's been given 48 hours notice of cancellation. It would appear that they are a bunch of scammers so please find another van company.

Shockingly poor customer service! My advice would be to read the small print as they will take your money without hesitation and say it’s in their terms of business and that’s just how it works!!

Looking into your booking, we understand that you were unhappy with the rescheduling fee required to amend your removal date and that a refund would not be due if you chose to cancel. To clarify, we allow customers to reschedule or cancel at no additional cost, provided this is requested at least 48 hours before the booked date. In this instance, your request to amend the date was made within 24 hours of your booking, at which point our schedules had already been planned to accommodate your requirements. At this stage, a 50% rescheduling fee applies. We understand that you opted not to reschedule and instead cancel your booking, in which case no refund was due, as this accounts for the time and resources already invested in arranging your service. We appreciate your understanding, and if you have any further questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out. Best regards, AnyVan

Misleading Pricing & Lack of Accountability I had a TERRIBLE experience with AnyVan due to misleading pricing and a lack of transparency. Before booking, I was repeatedly assured that my quoted price was fixed, only to be hit with an unexpected £600 charge at the last minute. At no point was I clearly warned that exceeding an assumed weight—something I was never asked to verify—would drastically increase my costs. When I raised my complaint, AnyVan simply deflected responsibility to the driver, despite the fact that they facilitated the booking and provided misleading assurances. This was an unfair and deceptive practice, and I would NOT recommend using their service unless you’re prepared for surprise charges and zero accountability.
