“I nearly chose the wrong supplier! I was about to order a Bambu lab P1S from a competitor of Additive-X. But after a conversation with a bored sounding man on a hard to hear phone line I tried Additive-X. What a difference. I had a pleasant and informative conversation with Rachel who answered all of my questions on a clear phone line. I did a quick check on their web site and found a well organised and long established firm. After placing my order I received a call from Rachel asking if I realised that there would be a delay in the delivery as they were waiting for a shipment to arrive. I said that I was aware that all suppliers were waiting for the same shipment. So I expected to have to wait at least a couple of weeks. But it actually arrived within a few days. It was well packaged and undamaged. After setting up the printer I had difficulty connecting to the internet. So I phoned Additive-X and was passed on to Chris Furlong, an extremely helpful and patient engineer, who spent a couple of hours, including with a video link, trying to work out what the problem was. After a lunch break Chris phoned me back to suggest a possible solution, after consulting with his colleagues, that my WiFi may be operating at 5GHz instead of the required 2.4GHz and that my extension that I have installed could well be set to the correct frequency. This was indeed the case and so my problem was solved. Just imagine what would have happened if I’d chosen the other supplier with the bored person on the bad phone line? So thank you Chris for your extreme patience. And thank you Rachel for helping me make the right decision to order from Additive-X. A very satisfied customer. Warwick Kemp.”

“Given that there was a Bank Holiday in the mix I found the customer service 5* and could not have asked for a quicker of more helpfull response and cannot reccomend Additive-X highly enough.”

“Have done business with them 3 times now and have been amazing on all 3 occasions. I have purchase 2 printers on separate occasions and both literally arrived prior to lunch the very next day. Even though one was purchased at 4pm, you can't do better than that. On the 3rd occasion I reached out to them via chat and was also a great experience (I forget the young ladies name) but she helped instantly, knew her stuff and when I was cheeky and asked for a discount code (Sadly not able to provide but not her fault) she empathised and said she'dve done the same. Fair play for honesty. In the words of Arnie, I'll be back”

“Ordered the A1 Combo as its was £10 less than bamboo and the delivery time was quicker. Package arrived perfectly and I haven't stopped using it! Would definitely recommend ordering your 3d printer from Additive-x if your unsure overall.”

“I've ordered a few items off you and always be very good only problem I had is with nambu A1 AMS did not come with screws to fit main unit to stand”

“I bought my Bambu lab A1 combo from Additive-x and have bought all my spares and supplies from them as well. Virtually everything I have ordered has been in stock as I placed the order,so no waiting for a week :). Everything has been delivered the next day, well packaged and arriving safely. I have already recommended them to friends and will continue to do so.”

“I believe a company is only as good as the support they provide, Additive-x goes above and beyond! I have bought 2 x P1S combo printers from Additive 3 months a part, the first being back in September 2024, great service and awesome fast delivery times. The first AMS recently developed a fault where none of the filaments would travel past the internal hub. I followed the Bambu Wiki, stripped down to clean, but it was not clogged up and hardly any debris. I called Additive-x and spoke to a very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable engineer called Craig, he determined the internal hub was faulty, asked if I was able to swap myself, I said yes, within 24 hours I had the new part and was back up and running, amazing support. I have since contacted Craig for some advice on upgrading on of my P1S to a hardened gear and hot-end, once again, based on my capability to fit myself, I was informed what parts to purchase without wasting money on parts I did not need, not only that he sent me links to instructions on how to install. I cannot stress enough how much I find my dealings with Craig and additive-x to have been so hassle free. I was impressed that much I even posted a review on Reddit in the Bambu Print section. “After many years buying my machines from technology outlet they let me down and offered a poor service. Website was down, wouldn't take an order over the phone and weren't bothered when I said I would need to look elsewhere if they couldn't help somehow. Not only were additive x cheaper buy a few quid for a new machine, they shipped it free, and took my order over the phone (something other firm refused to do) I was dealt with by a lady named Tammy who is highly recommend. Great attitude and really helpful. I'll be buying all subsequent machines from additive X going forward now based upon the service I received.”
