“I nearly chose the wrong supplier! I was about to order a Bambu lab P1S from a competitor of Additive-X. But after a conversation with a bored sounding man on a hard to hear phone line I tried Additive-X. What a difference. I had a pleasant and informative conversation with Rachel who answered all of my questions on a clear phone line. I did a quick check on their web site and found a well organised and long established firm. After placing my order I received a call from Rachel asking if I realised that there would be a delay in the delivery as they were waiting for a shipment to arrive. I said that I was aware that all suppliers were waiting for the same shipment. So I expected to have to wait at least a couple of weeks. But it actually arrived within a few days. It was well packaged and undamaged. After setting up the printer I had difficulty connecting to the internet. So I phoned Additive-X and was passed on to Chris Furlong, an extremely helpful and patient engineer, who spent a couple of hours, including with a video link, trying to work out what the problem was. After a lunch break Chris phoned me back to suggest a possible solution, after consulting with his colleagues, that my WiFi may be operating at 5GHz instead of the required 2.4GHz and that my extension that I have installed could well be set to the correct frequency. This was indeed the case and so my problem was solved. Just imagine what would have happened if I’d chosen the other supplier with the bored person on the bad phone line? So thank you Chris for your extreme patience. And thank you Rachel for helping me make the right decision to order from Additive-X. A very satisfied customer. Warwick Kemp.”

“Great next day delivery and good filaments in stock had the x1c and a1 printers off them to and thay never let me down either ,always help on had if needed to ,been 3d printing for 15 years al will always use this company from now on...”

“Ordered a Bambu A1 and had incredible service, accidentally ordered something with it and when i cancelled the item i got the refund and they said i could keep it! Id been a customer for about 5 mins. Companies could really take a leaf out of A-X's book here. I was nervous about ordering a 3d printer as its a huge outlay for a frivolous hobby but A-X made me feel confident to take the plunge on it.”

“you know you often think this is too good to be true re the prices of things … well this was what i originally thought …. i was wrong , it was good and true . great price , the cheapest i could find any where and super swift delivery . totally recommended i bought the ams light plug and play really , no issues at all from product or ordering”

“Website relatively straightforward to use. Products arrived quickly and well packaged. Only negative I can say is that due to being Channel Islands based, despite reaching the threshold for free shipping, I was instead charged £20 for postage - significantly increasing my overall expense. Tracked postage with Royal Mail actually works out cheaper than within mainland UK and this was explained to customer service before the shipment was made so it was disappointing that they stuck with the option that was so much more expensive for me. Unfortunately this would be enough to make me seek out other suppliers for future purchases.”

Totally understand and we apologise, we just aren't set up to use Royal Mail but it is something our Operations Manager is looking in to. We stopped using them due to prices being too high and lack of reliability around tracking, but for Channel Islands it seems they could be a good solution.

“I purchase a Bambu Lab A1 Combo from Additive X after purchasing a A1 Mini Combo directly from Bambu Lab. The machine was faulty and their after sales were absolutely abysmal. I needed to replace the printer asap as this was a birthday present off his Dad. After seeing the amazing reviews for the team, particularly regarding after sales issues, I reached out to them prior to purchasing. They completely reassured me that I was in safe hands and I purchased straight away. The printer arrived the following day, and (so far) - we have had no issues what so ever. Bambu Lab, on the other hand have still not rufunded us for the returned faulty printer. Would highly reccommend Additive X to anyone and would definately advise anyone looking and considering buying direct not to do so and use this fantastic company instead.”

“They have a Telephone No. so you can actually talk to a human as apposed to talking with an AI. chat session and they know there business , answered all my questions and put me at ease. Ordered a Bambu P2S combi about midday Monday and it arrived before 10am Tuesday. Great company and i will be using them again.”
