“If I could give them no stars I would . I ordered a part from A&C Spares Auto Salvage, The only E-mail I had about the part was, that it had been paid for. There was nothing to say that it had been dispatched, no tracking number and no delivery company name. After waiting 3 weeks for delivery of the part I phoned A&C spares, the delivery company didn't know where the part was. As I had no proof of the part being sent I expected a refund, which I have not received from A&C Spares. If this is the sort of company 1st Choice represents, then I certainly will not be using them again.”

“Chose the lowest quote for a replacement manual gearbox for a Citroen Picasso
Installed professionally with new clutch and flywheel but Ist gear not engaging properly. This has proved very dangerous at junctions forcing me to cut my losses and sell the car losing £1500 in the process. The warranty was meaningless as labour costs to remove the faulty gearbox would far outweigh the price initially paid .p”

“The gearbox delivered from the breaker yard was falsely advertised as fitting my car which is rear wheel drive the gearbox supplied was front wheel drive the car I required the gearbox for has never been made in a front wheel drive version and the gearbox I recieved is from a completely different car”

The nature of recycled spares is that they are not always available.
If after checking your emails or texts, you do not receive any quotes first time round, it's likely your parts were not available on that day.
With over 150 Breakers nationwide however, between them they are processing literally hundreds of additional vehicles every day.
So if you have not found the parts you need, you can log back into the site and re-send your request automatically.

“1st choice communication has been poor with significant delays in keeping customers updated on issues regarding their orders. They do not provide regular updates or solutions despite chasing several times. 1st choice should also review their suppliers to determine suitability and keep their customers aware of ongoing orders. “They are very dishonest and never answering calls. They sold me a Bmw i4 door the was advertised elsewhere much cheaper they where keep saying Manager will match the difference for you but I talk to them afew times for refund the difference but the were lairs never use them again ripped me of !! “So, my story begins when I used this company to source a car part. The quote I received came quickly, and a business called Hancock Salvage quoted me £173.00 for the part which I accepted. Then two days later, I get a call telling me they could not remove the part, so they were going to offer a refund. That refund never materialised in my account. Text messages saying so, just got shunned by Hancock Salvage.
Now 1st Choice Spares UK Ltd. The reason I trusted this site was because it had the option to report problems with suppliers. When I came to use this reporting method (Claiming it would be answered within 1 day), I have not heard anything back after 48 hours. Complete communication silence and £173.00 down.
Assurances claimed on 1st Choice Spares website, do not amount to anything!!!”

“I ordered my spare parts last Tuesday. Was told they’ll be delivered between Wednesday and Friday . Till today I haven’t received them.
