“A very successful search. I have a 1996 Escort Calypso with the dreaded CVT gearbox. This has caused me a number of issues which I feared might be terminal. However I used 1st Choice Spares in an attempt of find another gearbox and very quickly I had a response from Jack at 169UK. He was able to supply and fit a recon one. Whilst I was a bit shocked by the price when I met him with the car he quickly diagnosed the issues. 2 weeks later and I have a fully working CVT gearbox. It comes with a 2 year guarantee and a 6 month check so I am very pleased with the service and am hoping the box will continue to work satisfactorily for a few years.”

“Was looking for a replacement gearbox for my Lexus and having ruled out the usual Ebay and similar options, stumbled across 1st Choice Spares for the first time. Submitting my details was easy with the precise car being identified by its registration. Within 24 hours I received two quotes from suppliers - one being very reasonable indeed, with what seemed like a ridiculously cheap quote for shipping to North Wales. Money was paid and within a week the part delivered. On arrival, the sump was damaged - presumably the gearbox had landed on the floor at some point - but that was replaced with the sump from my existing box. “What a wonderful service for cutomers looking for near imposslibe car parts
They sourced a couple of companies. It was for a rear Axle Nissan Tino 2005 and roll bar.
Both companies were helpful, telling me their parts were sound. Sadly one was not they found out after dismantling which they charged me £40 00 the other cpmpany parts have now been delivered service.”
