“Great products and customer service, badly let down by DPD's appalling delivery service: how parcels have managed to avoid being stolen, from the random, roadside locations at which they are dumped by DPD drivers, continues to amaze me. If only you'd use a dependable courier, such as UPS or FedEx, for deliveries!”

“We wanted to try Swaledale Butchers because we were excited by their nose to tail approach. We prefer to eat high quality meat and try different cuts. We are delighted by the quality of the meat, and find it excellent value for money. We will definitely be placing orders in the future.”

“Been buying from Swaledale for nearly a year now. The quality of the meat and bones are really good - good colour, smells good and tastes great. We can really tell the difference compared to even the best supermarket quality range of meats. Delivery is spot on, well packaged and just a reliable company to deal with. Our main meats are the chicken joints, bones from chicken and pork, but we've also tried the ham hock and beef joints. All superb. Only minor issue experienced once so far was the recent order, where we tried 2 whole chickens for the first time and that seemed to smell faintly. Hoping it's a one off!”

“Really the best meat available.I have been concerned about bovear fed cows,swaledale assure me their animals are not fed it .The meat is full of flavour,and unlike supermarket meatI can identify what I'm eating.The mutton s particularly good as a curry in the slow cooker.”

“As usual the ordering and delivery was as expected. They arrive in ice packed boxes The meat and sausages are of top quality- you can’t beat it for flavour. It is more expensive than your local supermarket but then you are getting the best quality and cuts of meat. I particularly like that the meat is date stamped too- not all farm deliveries do this.”
