“The very best meat it’s possible to buy. Not cheap but why should it be, farmers who care about their animals and butchers who have pride in their profession should be paid accordingly. I have never been disappointed only delighted.”

“I ordered a mixture of offal and artizan steaks a couple of weeks ago. The quality, price and delivery service were all excellent. I loved the steaks, my dogs are loving the beef hearts and livers and fabulous beef broth from the bones. Nose to tail butchery is the way to go!!!”

“Had a situation where the delivery company messed up my delivery and was impressed by how quickly and efficiently Swaledale repealed the situation. Had the same situation happen at the same time with the same delivery company for a purchase from Selfridges and still waiting for a resolution! Thank you Swaledale, your customer service is outstanding!”

“So far from the order the family has had, Bacon, Sausages, Pork Mince and the Pork Loin Roasting Joint. All were delicious, special mention to the sausages which were juicy and well seasoned with a lovely snap to the skins. The Pork Loin though, we have not had one like it in years fabulous taste no loss in size none of that cotton wool texture just wonderful tasty juicy meat and proper crackling for the first time in years. We are now debating what to try on the next order and which joint to treat ourselves to for easter.”

“Excellent, high quality meat. As much as I don't wish to lose high street butchers, I find it difficult to find this quality and provenance of product on the high street. Love the fact that you're working with small high welfare farmers with native breeds and are supporting them in their efforts to become regenerative.”

“I ordered both a Pork Butt (bone in) and a Beef Brisket. Quality of the meat was excellent. I would like to have seen the point end of the brisket slightly thicker, other than that, great produce and very tasty.”

“I'm really pleased with the mutton and sausage packs that I have purchased from Swaledale. I've never knowingly bought mutton before and that has been my loss. The rolled mutton leg cooked beautifully, was tender, and very tasty. I have other pieces to cook up but I'm off to a flyer! The sausages are exactly what they should be: meaty and tasty. Proper butcher sausages that are sadly lacking in today's supermarkets. So far 10/10 for taste and a further 10/10 for the ordering process and delivery. I will be back for more.”
