“My first order arrived as expected, on time and without a hitch. The meat was beautifully presented - all top quality fresh meat, clearly labelled, and ready for my freezer without me having to repackage. The ice packs were still well frozen, so the packaging had clearly done its job. So, whilst I'm always a bit wary of ordering meat online, I have to say that I'm well impressed with Swaledale from that point of view. Ten out of ten from me...😊”

“Thank you Swaledale Butchers yet again excellent service, we ordered the meat, they packed it very well, it was delivered (DPD did just leave it on the doorstep didn't wait to see if we were home, this is the only thing that we are not happy about but that is DPD not Swaledale) and we are now enjoying amazing meat. Thank you once again for looking after us.”

“Quality is always exceptionally good, however my issue is the packaging, it basically looks like it all just gets thrown in a box and sent away. The labels, that contain important info like, the use by date are made from paper and fall off or disintegrated. So I now have multiple packs of meat that I am unsure of when to eat or plan my meals. The whole premise my purchase is to avoid freezing ideally, I like to eat fresh. However I am unable to manage this if the cheap stickers they use to detail the use by dates disapear in transport. My suggestion, can you use a more robust labeling method ? Even just putting a card in the box with the items and use by dates on would be a help. Thank you,”

“Delivery was great. Have only tried two products so far...Lamb shanks, tender and juicy. Pigs in blankets, a bit too spicy for my personal taste, but am sure will be fine for some, good size though.”

“Excellent meat as always - the chicken was huge and tastes exceptional. The streaky bacon is also amazing. Real value for money and worth that monthly treat. We now eat less meat each month as we only buy from Swaledale as it is evident that the quality of the product is representative of the care taken over animal husbandry.”
