This could be an expensive item of jewellery, a property that is thatched or a home that is undergoing renovation works.

Stanhope provides customers with highly personalised insurance products that their specific and specialist circumstances require. We will insure valuable items of jewellery whilst you are living away from home because your house, which has subsidence (which we are also insuring), is undergoing renovation works!

Very good. It takes longer for the account portal to be set up than suggested, but it is pretty good once it is. Policy looks fine.

The proof of 'any' insurers worth is when you have to make a claim. Fingers crossed I never have to however 'then' would be the best time to submit a review as the end user.

Platform to get a quote was very straightforward, however there was an issue with payment going through. However I emailed Stanhope who were able to confirm everything went through and shared appropriate documentation. I then realised my name was spelt wrong (my mistake) and Stanhope rectified this for me and resent the documents. Not sure if my experience with the payment was a one off or not but the staff were incredibly helpful!

It was very easy to add information about each watch to be insured and the overall premium was much more reasonable when compared with adding luxury items to standard home insurance!

Communication is important. Sam Meyer was very good, but two things worried me: 1) was the list of possessions I had covered fully. No one item was mentioned from it 2) I didn’t put the inv No down but notified Sam within 10 mins. There’s been no confirmation that the payment has been found. Other than that all okay. The time to tell will be if we put a claim in

I needed individual items insurance and this worked out more cheaply than insuring through my house insurance. Was simple to use the website, but was glad I had recent valuations and was, of course, tedious to have to fill in for every item. However, was happy with it all. Hopefully won't have to use it, but if I do, I hope it all goes smoothly.

Happy with insurance online, easy to complete details of item to be insured, however did have to ring in as webpage did not have sufficient detail as to what could make insurance invalid.

When trying to choose a ring catagory, you only showed engagement ring & eternity ring, rather than just a ring.
