Stanhope is a leading provider of niche and specialist insurance to the UK home insurance market. We focus on providing solutions that fit outside the standard UK home insurance norms. This could be an expensive item of jewellery, a property that is thatched or a home that is undergoing renovation works.

If you can’t find the solution through standard insurance platforms, then you will most likely have come to us as your next port of call.

Stanhope provides customers with highly personalised insurance products that their specific and specialist circumstances require. We will insure valuable items of jewellery whilst you are living away from home because your house, which has subsidence (which we are also insuring), is undergoing renovation works!

We are dedicated to providing exceptional levels of customer service and want all our customers to know that they have the right insurance policy in place at the right price, for their specific set of circumstances.

“I have a particularly tricky situation with my house backing onto the river and was struggling to find a decent insurer to cover me and include flood risk. Vicky Pine at Stanhope was fantastic. A thorough, intelligent interview meant she really understood my situation and was able to get me covered when I had pretty much resigned myself to either having no flood cover or flood cover that would have been infeasibly expensive. Well done and thank you.”

“I had just been told that my current insurers wouldn't cover the building work I had just started (!) In a panic, I tried various insurers with no luck. The moment I spoke to Stanhope they were reassuring and confident that they could help. Ryan was amazing and in no time he had the ball rolling and cover was secured. I was delighted - and couldn't have asked for more friendly and professional help. Thank you!”

“Advisor left and while contact was made to assist renewal this was only after I reached out. Eventually we renewed when my wife contacted supplier direct (it was quicker) and negotiated a renewal discount.”
