About Mountain Dog:

Mountain Dog are proudly the UK's Premier Dog Outfitter.
Established as a home-based business in 2017 when our border collie pup, Denver, joined the family. Since then our business has grown rapidly alongside this fluff ball who still acts as our ambassadog and chief tester of many products.

Today we have now served well over 150,000 customers and our business, whilst still small and family focused, occupies over 5000 square feet and is full of amazing dog products for the active and not so active pup alike.

We are proud to be a leading independent partner of world class brands such as Ruffwear, Dog Copenhagen, Kurgo, Kong, Non-stop dogwear, K9 Sport Sack, Rukka, ChuckIt!, Kong, EzyDog and many more.

These quality brands are all complemented by a full range of dog care accessories and our own brand of food, accessories and treats.

Based in beautiful Northumberland our business sells on-line and at major dog events throughout the country such as Crufts.

Customer service, fast delivery, providing quality items, timely advice and all with a smile is at the heart of everything we do. We dont get it right all the time but this is always our objective.

“The dog carrier was so good but unfortunately it was too big and heavy for me to use. I returned it to mountain dog and was given a refund straight away no issues. Would definitely buy from them again”

“Having discovered Mountain Dog, I have invariably relied on them for the supply of kit for my Labrador, Leo. I find them a customer focused retailer, selling good, indeed high quality equipment, which is strong durable and fit for purpose. Their onsite purchasing process is quick, as safe as can be and efficient. Delivery is prompt and the buyer is kept informed of progress.”

“I have 2 pods and they both have this harness. It adjusted well as they are both barrel-chested. It also connects away from their armpits which was one of the reasons I bought the first harness. Lots of freedom of movement for both dogs and lots of control for me.”

“Super quick delivery. Luna isn't interested in balls but loves her new Ruffwear - Gnawt-a-Cone. Her new Fjord Jacket in Purple was a real bargain and size 30 fits my wee Patterdale perfectly.”

“Initial purchase was much like any other online purchase. It was easy and the item I ordered arrived quickly. Where Mountain Dog stood out though, was in their aftercare. Some months later, my product was failing but they still kindly replaced it under warranty (even though they could have refused), no quibbles. Very happy with their service. Thank you.”

“Hasn’t come across Mountain Dog before so was a bit apprehensive. Couldn’t have been more wrong and have completed two orders this month. The size calculator is absolute genius and works brilliantly. I wanted some upgraded kit for hiking and wild camping. Very pleased with the quality of both Ruffwear and Non Stop and now feel like the dog has the right kit to safely join me.”
