About Mountain Dog:

Mountain Dog are proudly the UK's Premier Dog Outfitter.
Established as a home-based business in 2017 when our border collie pup, Denver, joined the family. Since then our business has grown rapidly alongside this fluff ball who still acts as our ambassadog and chief tester of many products.

Today we have now served well over 150,000 customers and our business, whilst still small and family focused, occupies over 5000 square feet and is full of amazing dog products for the active and not so active pup alike.

We are proud to be a leading independent partner of world class brands such as Ruffwear, Dog Copenhagen, Kurgo, Kong, Non-stop dogwear, K9 Sport Sack, Rukka, ChuckIt!, Kong, EzyDog and many more.

These quality brands are all complemented by a full range of dog care accessories and our own brand of food, accessories and treats.

Based in beautiful Northumberland our business sells on-line and at major dog events throughout the country such as Crufts.

Customer service, fast delivery, providing quality items, timely advice and all with a smile is at the heart of everything we do. We dont get it right all the time but this is always our objective.

“If I could have given no stars I would. Used the size guides. Measured our pooch 3 times. Coat arrives after over a week waiting. It's massive. Send back. Another 2 weeks for refund (minus thier carrier charge, and I had to pay to return). What a bunch of jokers. Better companies out there.”

Thank you for sharing your views Daniel. We can see you ordered the item on the 1st October with standard 3-5 day delivery and it arrived on-time right at the front end of that estimation. Further to this the refund was committed within 24 hours of the item arriving back with us. Whilst we are never happy to receive such feedback your comments don't accurately match how quickly we managed this.

“The jacket is perfect, very good quality, and wraps around my vizsla boy like a Taylor suit . Very good customer service when it comes to issues with sizing. Only the sizing calculator let me down a bit as it recommended slightly oversized. Good indications were the gauge how well it fit..”

“Due to a variety of reasons I have not yet used the product, however, it appears to be of the material I wanted in particular waterproof/washable and strong. It is a tracking lead and at the moment I can say nothing else. except the ordering and delivery time were both excellent.”

“I am delighted with this quality dog coat my german shepherd dog was happy to have it put on she was comfy and i know in the coming winter days she will be snug no matter the weather really i highly recommend the ciat abd the seller the maker”

“This is my second ruffwear webmaster harness. They are great for my podenco Skip. Who can get out of normal 3 point harnesses. Wish they came in more colours I would love a brown one”

“My experience using Mountain Dog on more than one occasion has been excellent. My last order I had to return unsuitable items which had gone past the return expiry date due to being away from the delivery address. I phoned Mountain Dog who were very helpful in sending an email detailing how I could return the items. Within a few days of posting the return items I had notification that they had received them and that they were inspecting them prior to processing the refund which has now been done. I can't recommend this company enough.”

“We bought the fjord jacket in blue. We followed the measuring guide and it fits Poppy perfectly. This jacket was expensive, but is very good quality and lightweight. Just what we wanted.”
