About Mountain Dog:

Mountain Dog are proudly the UK's Premier Dog Outfitter.
Established as a home-based business in 2017 when our border collie pup, Denver, joined the family. Since then our business has grown rapidly alongside this fluff ball who still acts as our ambassadog and chief tester of many products.

Today we have now served well over 150,000 customers and our business, whilst still small and family focused, occupies over 5000 square feet and is full of amazing dog products for the active and not so active pup alike.

We are proud to be a leading independent partner of world class brands such as Ruffwear, Dog Copenhagen, Kurgo, Kong, Non-stop dogwear, K9 Sport Sack, Rukka, ChuckIt!, Kong, EzyDog and many more.

These quality brands are all complemented by a full range of dog care accessories and our own brand of food, accessories and treats.

Based in beautiful Northumberland our business sells on-line and at major dog events throughout the country such as Crufts.

Customer service, fast delivery, providing quality items, timely advice and all with a smile is at the heart of everything we do. We dont get it right all the time but this is always our objective.

“Very quick delivery and exchange due to size calculator recommended a larger size than needed. Dropped 2 size and fits perfect. Would recommend a slot in jacket for a lead as there is one for a harness.”

“Good shower-proof coat. Got caught in a downpour the first day we used it. Pup's back was completely dry but belly was wet. - So coat is probably most effective in a light shower rather than heavy rain. One issue was the sizing suggestion was inaccurate. It advised purchasing a size 50 but it was 2 sizes too big and I had to return it at my own cost. I'd advise ordering several sizes to avoid sending items back and forth. However, the refund was actioned quickly and the order arrived in good time, so good customer service on that front.”

“My lab retriever injured her foot and needed two operations. I visited the chat line at Mountain Dog and received excellent advice regarding the Ruffwear boot. The boot has a strong sole and is helping Honey to be able to go out walking again. Thank you Mountain Dog.”

“Only had about 2 months and the collar snapped at the clip not happy at all as wasn’t a cheap item. Only purchased as was recommended as a good collar. Not worth the money”

“Wouldn’t even try another site before Mountain Dog for anything dog related! They’re customer service team are outstanding! Nothing is too much trouble and have nothing negative to say! Everything I’ve bought from a collar, lead, dog coat to dog float coat has been brilliant!”

“Rukka - Medea Eco Bathrobe Mountain Dog were great to deal with, I ordered online, it was delivered quickly and fits well. Bonnie likes to swim any chance she gets and the drying coat helps to keep my car clean and dry and also stops her shivering whilst driving home. Size Medium, 13Kg Cockapoo Great company, happy to recommend them.”
