About Mountain Dog:

Mountain Dog are proudly the UK's Premier Dog Outfitter.
Established as a home-based business in 2017 when our border collie pup, Denver, joined the family. Since then our business has grown rapidly alongside this fluff ball who still acts as our ambassadog and chief tester of many products.

Today we have now served well over 150,000 customers and our business, whilst still small and family focused, occupies over 5000 square feet and is full of amazing dog products for the active and not so active pup alike.

We are proud to be a leading independent partner of world class brands such as Ruffwear, Dog Copenhagen, Kurgo, Kong, Non-stop dogwear, K9 Sport Sack, Rukka, ChuckIt!, Kong, EzyDog and many more.

These quality brands are all complemented by a full range of dog care accessories and our own brand of food, accessories and treats.

Based in beautiful Northumberland our business sells on-line and at major dog events throughout the country such as Crufts.

Customer service, fast delivery, providing quality items, timely advice and all with a smile is at the heart of everything we do. We dont get it right all the time but this is always our objective.

“Hi...Gloved leash...didn’t get the colour (Red)I wanted...waited and waited for it to come into stock ..to no avail,my son purchased one from a shop in Cornwall and said how good it was...so I ordered the black in the end...came quickly...it takes a bit of getting use to ..but overall happy with it..”

Here at Mountain Dog, we are all dog lovers, and we understand the disappointment when a new toy is damaged. As with all of our toys, we advise that you assess the durability of the toy before engaging in play with your dog. Whilst these toys are designed to be durable, they can be susceptible to damage. We do have a few ranges on our website that may be better suited to your dog's play style. Our more popular tough toys come from the Kong Extreme Range or alternatively, the Kong Core-Strength Range. We do hope to see you again in the future :)

“My poor dog had his eye removed leaving a vulnerable socket and remaining eye with depth perception issues. Rex Specs are a godsend! He's fine with them, can still bomb about without me stressing and keeping out grass seeds etc. Apparently he can now sky dive, swim, go in a side car, play with Henry Hoover, play tennis.....I jest! Great product, prompt delivery, thank you.”

“Great selection of items, fast and accurate shipping. Due to Brexit, be aware when ordering to Hungary, tax&customs will be a pricey cost of receiving the items but this has nothing to do with the store.”

We'd love to help James, we aren't aware of any issues with our service that you have reported. I note you are having a challenge with a Ruffwear product that can easily be sorted, they have a great warranty - please get in touch and we will resolve quickly.

“Love the lights pink and green but after order realised they are selling for £14 each! Also discovered battery replacement is really expensive and already the lights have so that’s disappointing but so easy to keep an eye on our terriers over fields as we attached to chest on harness. The light can be seen side profile, face on and on ground it doesn’t interfere with their eyes. Brilliant!”
