Mountain Dog are proudly the UK's Premier Dog Outfitter.
Established as a home-based business in 2017 when our border collie pup, Denver, joined the family. Since then our business has grown rapidly alongside this fluff ball who still acts as our ambassadog and chief tester of many products.

Today we have now served well over 300,000 customers and our business, whilst still small and family focused, occupies over 5000 square feet and is full of amazing dog products for the active and not so active pup alike.

“The bag came really fast and customer service were really great to reach out and give us colour options. As I needed the bag sooner than I cared for the colour. The bag is great and our French Bulldog is really comfortable in it. Once she was used to it she willingly got in a second time: and got loads of love around Gloucestershire for it.”

“I recently made my first order. At first I was a little disappointed about how long it took to prepare and dispatch my parcel but on reflection I feel this is simply because I’ve become accustomed to next day shipping from big businesses and this simply isn’t one of them. It took seven days from placing the order to receiving the item (give or take accounting for business hours and postage cut offs). When I had a query however, the customer service from Katie was lovely and she helped me with a number of questions. When I got the product through it was great quality and the price is just as good as the bigger companies, if not better in some cases! I’m sure I’ll be buying from here in the future.”

“We ordered a new harness for our Labrador Jasper, as he had become a bit of a Houdini in wriggling out of his previous ones. Mountain Dog stocked the Ruffwear Flagline harness at a discount and the harness has solved the issue, but also a generally better design to be more comfortable for our dog. The harness was dispatched quickly and Jasper was using it within the hour of it arriving. Very pleased with the harness and the the efficient way Mountain Dog supplied it. Thank you.”

“We bought our last harness from MD and went for a Ruffwear because of the quality, but when we received the new item the very next day we noticed some subtle differences between the new and old harness. I raised a question online about the difference and was delighted to receive a comprehensive response within an hour or so, which resolved the concerns completely. All in all couldn’t have asked for better service.”

“Recently purchased a dog pack: the advice on the website was clear and helpful, and pricing competitive. Ordering online was simple (with clear size guidance on the website), and our new pack arrived very quickly. We were amazed that our wriggly teenage spaniel agreed to get in with no fuss, and seems happy in it - but we've not been outside yet due to a heatwave, so looking forward to walkies as soon as we can.”
