Mountain Dog are proudly the UK's Premier Dog Outfitter.
Established as a home-based business in 2017 when our border collie pup, Denver, joined the family. Since then our business has grown rapidly alongside this fluff ball who still acts as our ambassadog and chief tester of many products.

Today we have now served well over 150,000 customers and our business, whilst still small and family focused, occupies over 5000 square feet and is full of amazing dog products for the active and not so active pup alike.

We are proud to be a leading independent partner of world class brands such as Ruffwear, Dog Copenhagen, Kurgo, Kong, Non-stop dogwear, K9 Sport Sack, Rukka, ChuckIt!, Kong, EzyDog and many more.

These quality brands are all complemented by a full range of dog care accessories and our own brand of food, accessories and treats.

Based in beautiful Northumberland our business sells on-line and at major dog events throughout the country such as Crufts.

“Really pleased with the waterproof coat. It’s well made and fits sung but still allowing lots of room to move. Love the colour too. It arrived really quickly in its own little bag for easy transport.”

“Easy to navigate website, simple to ordr and item arrived quickly. However, the item i ordred was too small ( my bad) so i contacted them, the person i spoke with was sympatheticand understoodmy plight and took me through the process. Booked a return which again was simple and ordered a new size. It was perfection so simple”

“I was very impressed with the level of service and the dog light.(which was ever so slightly hard to attach having weakness in my hands but had a friend do it ) The customer personal service was excellent. I had accidentally purchased 2 collars and after making contact and getting advice,Paul emailed me and refunded the first purchase before the correct collar light arrived ..I will most definitely use again if I need any other items for My Lovely Lab .”

“We wanted a light weight coat that covered more than just our dogs backs. These coats cover from neck to tail plus the back legs. Very water proof and only takes a few minutes to dry in a drying pod ready for the next wet walk.”

“Amazing dog coats!! We have a greyhound and have never found a coat that was a good fit or that needed some kind of adaption even ones made for this particular breed. Ordered 2 of these coats and they are amazing. Great colours, design and materials but the best thing ...they fit first time and nothing needed adapting!! They are fabulous and highly reccomend purchasing. Mabel likes them too!!”

“This was the 2nd time I have bought Hurtta Monsoon Coats for my dog. The other is now 2 years old and still looks and performs great! I only chose this one to get a new colour. Mountain Dog offered a great selection at very competitive prices. Their website was easy to navigate and the cost arrived in good time. This new coat will be the dogs Christmas present so I am unable to attach a photo of it in Ruby but he have attached one of her and her brother in the others I already have. I know she's going to look great in her new one too😄”

“We ordered a shower proof coat which is well made and one of the best I have found (tried many). Sizing our dog is difficult as he is a long legged/ bodied terrier. After a few attempts we got the sizing right. It was very easy to return and customer service was excellent. I would highly recommend recommend this company . 5 🌟”
