“Would recommend Jupiter Blue (and have already mentioned to friends) I ordered an SDS made to measure loft hatch to replace a draughty old access to a 1930s loft opening. I had called the team before ordering for advice on measurements as the opening was slighlty out of square. For a made to measure product my order was then turned around very promptly and arrived securely packaged. This is a quality product and made to measure was exactly that. The frame slotted into position perfectly on the first attempt without any need to trim the surrounding timber work. The fitting instructions advised to use the supplied woodscrews. There were none provided but 12 countersunk screws did the job. Packing shims were also needed as advised in the instructions to prevent overtightened screws twisting the frame.”

“I had to create a new loft hatch in a room extension. I first thought of making one myself but, being no carpenter, saw the range produced by Jupiter Blue and bought a basic fire-rated push up model. If you follow the instructions you will find it fits perfectly and has a modern, unobtrusive appearance. And it is fairly priced.”

“Just installed the loft hatch today - dimensions were precisely as requested - it was well finished and fits well in the opening. The included operating pole was a bonus, but in fact while it is long enough to operate the hatch lock, it is a bit short to be able to pull down the ladder - all sorted by moving the hatch lock key (nice solid metal key) into the pole that came with the ladder. Would certainly order a bespoke hatch the next time I need to fit one.”
