“IDS is fantastic, however the refund process is extremely slow. Whilst I appreciate that each refund is processed within the 28-day period, every single time that I’ve sent costumes back, it’s taken the maximum amount of time to process it. Given that teachers like myself are placing costly, bulk orders, this leaves us out of pocket for a long period of time. As a result of this, it’s put me off placing further orders whilst I wait to be reimbursed (it’s not financially sustainable to keep waiting so long for a refund between orders). If the returns process could be quicker, that would be fantastic.”

The returns department is always very busy and I have passed on your comments to the team who are working hard to speed up the process. Had you thought about applying for a credit account which would mean that orders could be sent out before the refund is processed. Please contact the customer service team who will send you an application form if you would like to do this.

“I have been so pleased with all the staff at the ODS especially just recently with my showroom order . They really helped take some of that show time stress away . Thanks in particular to Rebecca and Natasha for their patience and help . Great costumes great prices very happy dance teacher .”

“I have just returned from a showroom visit where I was able to look at a huge variety of costumes in person with expert help and advice from the showroom team. It is often difficult to see fine details in photos so to be able to see the real thing and feel the fabric is invaluable. You also get live stock information so there is no wasted time thinking about ordering costumes that will not be in stock by the date you need them. I would highly recommend a visit.”

“IDS is mostly great. Communication is excellent when you need it. However, stock levels, especially for ballet shoes are frequently poor. I have been trying to purchase C10- size 1 first position, split sole canvas ballet shoes since September and they have persistently been out of stock. I am considering closing down my IDS shop if I can't get our uniform basics.”
